Too late....lol. We got our bonus from work and while I don't need another pistol I realized I didn't have anything coyote brown. Damnit!

I bought my first Glock last Nov, a 19 gen5, it's very accurate. I think my P80 17 build is every bit as accurate, I love it!

I do not have any experience with non OEM uppers. I am using the same holsters for my OEM lowers.
I've heard the Brownells slide does not fit holsters like the OEM slides do. They are not chambered on the top edges like OEM.

I'm using the Omnivore holster(s) for my pistols with WML and without on my gun belt (OWB). The Brownells slide fits fine, but so does everything else so far. I love having one holster that holds everything.

Excellent build. I’m trying to decide what slide I want for my Polymer 80 g17. I just want my slide to have three things. 1: It can't have any holes or relief cuts in it. I don't want foreign objects and debris getting inside the gun; holes in the slide tend to let that happen. I'm using this build as a duty/SHTF handgun, so it's important there aren't any holes in the slide. 2 I want the slide to be either Cerakoted burnt bronze or anodized in that color. I really don't know how many ways this color can be applied, but as long as the slide is burnt bronze in color with a durable finish that will be fine.
3 I want front slide serrations. I don't use them, I just think they look cool. This is something I could live without, but if they are included I would be very pleased. I also prefer the slanted slide serrations to the straight ones.

Newest versions of the brownells
Slides have a larger slide top chamfered edge and fit glock holsters
But there are still some old versions that are being shipped

I have a Shadow Systems Slide, a Brownells Slide and a couple Glock OEM. I'd recommend any of those honestly. The brownells slide was considerably cheaper than the others but the quality is fantastic, and Brownells warranty is fantastic as well. With the money you save on the slide, you can get a custom jydex holster if you like, or stick with leather and you shouldn't have much issue. When the Poly 80's are wearing the OEM slides, they fit my Glock holsters. Just my .02
