The Ruger Mark pistols have a good reputation. I bought a Mark 1 new, but having no magazine release, not the best choice. The revolver does have the advantage of advancing to the next round with a "dud" in the cylinder over a clearing semi-auto. If choosing a revolver, it would be a good idea to get a feel for the trigger before making a purchase. I had read about the 22 LR SP-101 triggers being very heavy. In dry firing one at the LGS, I thought that trigger was not for me.
I ran into a guy from work at the range, some decades ago, who had a full auto 10/22. When I asked him a question about accuracy, he said he did not care because he was a blaster. He never cleaned the gun, just sprayed the action with Break Free liberally. He let me run through a couple magazines and I enjoyed it. The guy owned several full autos and hated the Clintons. I imagine that his full auto HK rifles are worth a small fortune today.
