I know the reputation around here isn't that great but while going through my stash I came up with a complete Subcompact or X-Compact Slide (3.6" Barrel) in 9mm and a Wilson Carry II Grip Module with 17 round magazine (In the grip frame). Worth picking up a used FCU for?

New is $299 stock or $349 for the Custom.... Dealers are asking about $279 for a used Custom or $239 for a used stock FCU. I suspect I can manage to scare up a stock for $175 (From someone that pulled for the Custom) if I look. Still you might be right. I suspect a stock frame is basically worthless but value of mags and assembled slide plus fcu would likely exceed $350.

Yes.

My 320 has been laying on the table now for months on end fully loaded with one in the tube and no shots have been fired !!!!!

It had a really light pull, 1.75lbs after too much sanding and polishing. An $11 new sear was put in and finished off at 3.5 pounds, which is exactly WHAT I wanted for my use. Love the accuracy and functionality of the P320s.

Sorry, I'm honestly not trying to be snarky but I just had to ask. What is it your use it for if it has been laying on the table for months?

You stated you are not trying to be snarky and then go ahead and ask a question that reveals your superiority complex.

I also am not trying to be snarky, but with all the firearms that you own, do you use each one of them monthly??? I also have a 870 shotgun in the bedroom that has been loaded with one in the tube with 00 buck for years without being shot. Its my "just in case" SD weapon for intruders, Simple.

I have multiple firearms located throughout our house that have loaded mags and one in the barrel that are available for immediate use if needed. It's a new principle called...... hold on......preparation.

Just checked on my P320 that is locked and loaded............still no misfires and here I thought that model would just pop one off periodically.

Lay a Glock 22.2 next to it for a few months. I heard a rumor it only happens when a Sig contracts Glock Leg Virus.

I love my 320 full size in 357 sig. I had previously shot the g31 and p226 in 357 sig, but I really didn't fall for the 357 sig until I shot it in the 320.

I also have the 9mm full size caliber conversion for the 320 and I have swapped the FCU between the 9 and 357 with zero issues.

I would say that IF you can find a used FCU for a decent price, why not. As some pointed out, AIM Surplus does have LE trade-in P320s right now for about $350. As suggested, you sell what you do not need. Personally, I see no issues with any of the P320s made since 2019. Heck, I own about 17 of the P320s. If you go to the SIG website and run the s/n of a FCU to see if it had the upgrade performed. One is a RX Compact.
