Hello All,

I finally received my Fusion XP Pro, it was ordered the day after the election.

The pistol is based on a 2011 platform, but except for taking Glock G17 mags.

The pistol is a collaboration between Fusion Firearms (Bob Serva -Dan Wesson 1911 fame) and Ermox 0f Turkey (Those that are going to bash Turkey, politely stop reading).

Most parts are machined bar stock steel or aluminum, no MIM parts, except for the mag release which is polymer to accommodate the Glock / Glock Style mags.

The machining is very well executed, in my opinion above its price point, this model has a tennifer treatment with a chrome finish, the cuts and angles unfortunately are not displayed well with my photography skills, may need BAC to do a photo shoot for us.

The packaging included 2 keyed optic plates (RMR + RMRc) with BUIS , 2 KCI(?) magazines, and a cleaning kit. The trigger was at exactly 4 pds out of the box, but with some minor tweaking I am getting reading of 2.14 pds.

I plan on getting to the range either tonight or tomorrow and test fire/ sight in,

Updates as they become available….anyone have a Fusion and would like to share their experience?

Congrats Gino! How does the grip frame feel and trigger compare to other 2011s?

Nice!
I’ve had one in my cart for a week now. I have a hard time committing to it since the delivery date is sometime in February. I am so damn impatient.

I also have an XP Pro and the gun performs perfectly, never an issue with operation however it is currently on it's way to Fusion Firearms for an optic issue that I am having and have also seen a couple of YouTube videos with the same problem. I have mounted a Holosun 507 dot and at 21 feet with the adjustment maxed it is still hitting 2 1/2 inches low. I'm hoping this is just a mounting plate issue and not a slide cut problem.

It is a factory plate, the gun comes with two plates, they look absolutely awesome, they fit all of the common optics, they have posts on them to fit the slide and also posts that the optics sit on. The plates have rear sights built onto them. The looks and fit are perfect but I believe somewhere along the way the dimensions for the optic height is wrong. After reading about, and having my issue, I changed to the second included plate because my Vortex Defender would work on the second plate and I also had to adjust that optic to ALMOST maximum but I did get that optic to zero at 21 feet.

I hope so Brian,
I will be completing my review once my pistol is returned ; I am giving them the opportunity to address my particular issues -optic related.

As s side note the CS has been good, I requested a RMA / Label and they did issue it with in 24hrs.

Bob himself took over correspondence we with me, since all the manufactures have been prepping for SHOT25, I expect a little latency with follow emails...etc.

My gun is currently on the way to fusion and I believed at the time that it is a plate issue, I hope it isn't a slide machining issue. It could be possible that the optic cut isn't parallel to the bore. I measured my plate and it was only a couple thousands difference between front to back.
