Hello All,

I finally received my Fusion XP Pro, it was ordered the day after the election.

The pistol is based on a 2011 platform, but except for taking Glock G17 mags.

The pistol is a collaboration between Fusion Firearms (Bob Serva -Dan Wesson 1911 fame) and Ermox 0f Turkey (Those that are going to bash Turkey, politely stop reading).

Most parts are machined bar stock steel or aluminum, no MIM parts, except for the mag release which is polymer to accommodate the Glock / Glock Style mags.

The machining is very well executed, in my opinion above its price point, this model has a tennifer treatment with a chrome finish, the cuts and angles unfortunately are not displayed well with my photography skills, may need BAC to do a photo shoot for us.

The packaging included 2 keyed optic plates (RMR + RMRc) with BUIS , 2 KCI(?) magazines, and a cleaning kit. The trigger was at exactly 4 pds out of the box, but with some minor tweaking I am getting reading of 2.14 pds.

I plan on getting to the range either tonight or tomorrow and test fire/ sight in,

Updates as they become available….anyone have a Fusion and would like to share their experience?

Congrats Gino! How does the grip frame feel and trigger compare to other 2011s?

The trigger feels like any 1911/2011 pistol.
The grip is closer to a 2011 than a glock,
The rear of the grip has a slight steeper angle that forces your hand up.
I will try and do a side by side to my Staccato P/Cheely grip tomorrow.
Thanks!

Nice!
I’ve had one in my cart for a week now. I have a hard time committing to it since the delivery date is sometime in February. I am so damn impatient.

Russ,
I think it’s time you start coming to some of our local matches. Good times and friendly atmosphere. It’s just for fun, nothing serious.

Would be great to shoot with you again in 2025. 😎
Yeah I really should but sometimes with work travel and just work, during the week I just want to sit home and read. The weekends are more about getting out.

Plus I would like to meet Gino in person vs the trigger pics he sends me.. :ROFLMAO:

Russ,This is a family friendly forum!
I took some measurements with my caliber (Staccato Cheely Grip vs the Fusion), please see the table below.
The Fusion grip is longer (Front to back) but thinner, it also has a indent at the bottom of the grip, this in combination with the steeper rear grip angle I believe helps present the dot a bit better.
Unfortunaley with the light coating of snow and the steep driveway at the range, I will pass on shooting today.

you usually have a Wheeler gauge with digital readout...to show the before and after Gino mods!
