A poster from another forum has claimed that the Glock 21 is not as reliable as the Glock 17. I say a Glock is a Glock; but I am open to information that may prove me wrong- so what say you about this contention?

Well, I'd buy a Glock 44....it's strictly a range gun and never to be relied on for anything else. Most of the failures are going to be ammo related anyway so don't blame that on the gun. I have a Glock 44 and have had very, very few failures in over 10,000 rounds using various cheap bul ammo brands. Biggest problem I have is with Federal Automatch and mostly when it is cold weather. The only Glocks that I would never buy are the 44 and 36. Glock never could get those things as reliable as the rest of their guns.
"probably" is the key word. i am a big Glock fan and owner but I am mature enough to admit that Glock has flaws. Just like the Toyota Tacoma is more reliable than any other pick-up truck. It really is more reliable than any other pick-up truck , but it has a few flaws and I understand it and admit it.Well, I'd buy a Glock 44....it's strictly a range gun and never to be relied on for anything else. I've never had, owned or even shot a Glock 36 but I bet it is probably just as reliable as any other Glock 45 caliber pistol.
Never knew the 36 had a problem* track record. Makes me feel good mine has been issue free. The only Glocks that I would never buy are the 44 and 36. Glock never could get those things as reliable as the rest of their guns.
They are "hit and miss" , unfortunately not as reliable as the "hit and miss" engines , LOL .Never knew the 36 had a problem end track record. Makes me feel good mine has been issue free.

Don't disagree with you but my point is that the random Glock 21 has a statistically same failure probability as any other Glock."probably" is the key word. i am a big Glock fan and owner but I am mature enough to admit that Glock has flaws. Do you reload all of your own ammo?It would take alot more than 50K to confirm the difference. I have a 2pin G17 that has over 330K.
