Do you reload all of your own ammo?
Yes, mostly. I was sponsored in competition for decades, got free bullets, primers, powder, brass and ammo. But yes, probably about 90% reloads of 600,000 rounds in 30 years with Glocks. Before that, from 67-92, running 1911's, about 400,000.

My Glock 21 Gen 4 protects my home, it is dead nuts accurate and dependable.

The G21 is not just reliable, it is also the most powerful glock, with the right barrel,
and the most versatile glock.

We have all the barrels to shoot 9mm, 357sig, 40s&w, 10mm, 45acp, 45 super
and 460 Rowland loads in it.

If something happens and we had to BO, a G21 with all the barrels
would be part of it. Have a case that holds it all with three 50 round
boxes of ammo.

A poster from another forum has claimed that the Glock 21 is not as reliable as the Glock 17. I say a Glock is a Glock; but I am open to information that may prove me wrong- so what say you about this contention?
I agree with you that a Glock is a Glock and Glocks have a well deserved reputation for absolute reliability and durability. The exceptions are well known. G36's sometimes have problems and G22's and G23's have problems when you mount a Light on the dust cover and the 22LR chambered G44's do not seem to be as reliable as the centerfire Glocks.

But I would question the source as far as where the guy who told you that G21's were not reliable got his information from and whether it was based on a single personal experience or hearsay, and if personal experience, how extensive that experience was, and was it with more than one G21.

When I lived in a big city, Los Angeles, there was actually a time for a number of years when there were areas outside the city limits where you could go shooting but those areas were eventually all shut down and I had to go to both indoor and outdoor ranges to shoot and even got to know some of the owners of the indoor ranges, most of whom rented guns including Glock 17's, Glock 19's, Glock 22's, 23's in 40 caliber and G20 and G21's in 10mm and 45 ACP. And these guns had as many as 100,000 rounds through them without any maintenance other than cleaning and a routine recoil spring change every 4-5000 rounds.

My own experience is limited to 4 different Glocks. A G19 gen 2, a G20C, a G20SF and a G23 Gen 3 to which I added G G32 357 Sig barrel and a KKM 9mm conversion barrel after I sold the G19 and kept all the spare mags.

All of my Glocks have always been 100 percent reliable and I've fired thousand of rounds of many different kinds of ammo through them including reloads with cast, powder coated, and plated bullets with never a single malfunction from any Glock that I've ever owned. And of the 4 different Glocks I've owned, two of them were used and two were new. The G19 gen 2 was at least ten years old when I bought it, made sometime in 1990, and the G23 was a police turn in from 1996.

I trust all my Glocks with my life and I'm a firm believer in using only OEM Glock magazines and never tinkering with the triggers and no aftermarket parts except for sights. My favorite Glock is my G20SF which is basically the same gun as a G21 and slides are interchangeable on both guns.

Very, very cool. Was this fulltime or a hobby/side job?

D20, no just a hobby since 1967. I first started with Col. Cooper, up in Lucerne Valley, CA. More of training scenarios than competition, but it quickly evolved. There are lots of sponsored shooters, but only a handful employed full time in the games and training, notabably Rob Leatham, Jerry Miculek and Taran Butler. There is far more money with far less effort in training....

I have owned several Glock 21 pistols from Gen 2 through Gen 4 and never had a single issue with any of them. The agency I work for has issued the Gen 4 G21 since 2012 and there have been no problems with any of them. I mean, the pistol was derived from a 10mm Auto design when most manufacturers were doing just the opposite by turning 45 ACP chambered pistols into 10mm offerings.

Mine survived a ruptured case that blew the mag out of the gun. It was some factory Armscorp 230 grain ammo. I picked up the previous 7 fired cases and all were bulged but had cycled. Number 8 blew the mag out. I inserted a fresh mag of Hornady and it worked fine, and has ever since.

I've had a Gen3 21 for many years and a Gen4 soon after they were released. I picked up a Gen5 and it is my favorite 21. I shoot all 3 and haven't had any issues in mine with lots of cheap ammo and HST's and Double Tap (Gold Dtos) for carry. I've never had to question the 21's reliability of any the three generations I own. They have similar reliability to the 9mm Glock's I own.
