What do you want to know :D

I have the X, the XL, and even the newest P365 with the "P" in the sku. All new P365 come optic ready. That's new as a month ago or so.

The P365 does "it" better than most. You can easily change the grip to larger. I like the curved trigger more than the Sig straight trigger.

The P365XL converts up or down....but I have found the P365 with the shorter barrel, for me, shoots no worse than the larger. Here are two of my converted P365 grips carry guns, just color changes:

Couldn't be more simple to swap the grip.

On mags, if you look at that last pic, I have all mag configurations for the 10rnd small grip. All work 100% That's 10, 10 +0 base pad, 12rnd, 15rnd, and 17rnd in the 10rnd grip. It works great. Only the 15rnd Sig mag is kinda weird because they didn't close the back (top picture).

The Gen5 trigger can be swapped to the now $60 Glock oem performance trigger. That said, the P365 is pretty darn good. Better than most. Approaching Walther level, almost

I think the P365 series is a winner.

Thanks for the reply! So how do you feel accuracy wise with the 365? I read somebody saying the Glock was more accurate for range shooting but I think that is just personal preference.
Notice any difference?

I just got a Glock 43x MOS and would urge you to look at that as well. I was in for a P365XL or the 43x. I'm not at all a glock fanboy as the 43x is probably the only one i'll own, but it's still a great gun. Accuracy i've found after years of carry and range is negligible. Accuracy is mostly at the range and competition when points count. A grouping the size of a quarter or the size of a half dollar doesn't really matter in an SD scenario. And odds are, the gun is more accurate than you so it's negligible. Between the two i as well would go with the sig.

Neither are target guns. Both do fine.

I personally don't find shooting difficult and I don't see much if any difference between my G5 G19 and P365 with stock sights.

I think this is true of any manufacturer and slide length: small front dot drives target level groups.

The trigger on the P365 really leaves nothing to complain about. I have 5 P365 versions and none are anything but good. I do HATE the straight P365 trigger. Increased feel on pull, weight, and reset. That one I think most online reviewers get totally wrong.

Both are great guns. Both are more accurate then your typical shooter. The Sig offers more options and to me is more ergonomic with a better trigger. What matters more is which one fits better in your hand and which one can you shoot better. I've always had trouble with trigger reach on the double stack Glocks. That isn't the case with the Sigs, but I found the X Macro to be too long in the grip to carry concealed but they offer optional grip modules to fit your needs.

I personally feel the Glock is more durable and potentially more reliable.

I have both and prefer the G19 because it's a thicker wider grip and I have bigger hands and it's just easier for me to hang on to and make follow up shots. I actually put a hogue grip sleeve on my 365 to fatten it up a little. This is my personal issue with the slimmer guns but if they both fit your hand you won't have an issue with either gun.

It would be subjective to the shooter. I’ve shot the P365 and G45 in the same Outlaw matches out to 40ish yards. Both were accurate, however for me, I’d have to give the nod to the P365 overall.

Simply put, the P365 variants provide more options out of the box.
  • Optic ready.
  • Choice of MS or not.
  • Xray night sights are standard.
  • Straight or curved trigger.
  • Ability to mix-n-match frames and such.
Both are good defensive pistols, Sig offers more bang for the buck.

Yep.

The Sig with the same sized round magazine matches almost 100% to a Glock 19 or Glock 17. With my pic above, my P365 (small size) with the Sig 15rnd mag is exactly the same height as my G5 G19. The benefit is you can go up and down, the grip is nice, the trigger is nice, etc.

Without using Magguts, you can't make the Sig less tall than the Glock height in equal number of rounds. All within a base pad width difference.

With Magguts, you can really start getting height difference per round that the G19 can't do (because the G19 can't get smaller).

You mentioned concealed carry. If it's size alone, no question. Trigger alone, no question. Grip feel, no question. All together? you have decision on your hands! haha. Best of luck.

Choosing one, I'd still go with the 19. Choosing two (which is what I did), I'd add the standard P365. Smaller, easier to conceal, optional manual safety (which I want on a striker ccw). The only time I carry my 19 is OWB in the field and I do not carry it with a chambered round as I live in open country. If a mountain lion sneaks up on me from behind, you can all have a good laugh at my lack of preparedness...

While I am still a huge Glock fan, I'm for the 365 as well. It it simply a fantastic CCW weapon and has a lot of flexibility in it's design aside from round capacity. The 365 is simply easier to carry than the 19. Personally I would go with the 365 XL over the X macro. I don't like ports on a combat weapon, and you can always toss an X macro frame on the 365 later is you so wish.

Glock simply missed the boat with the 43X, and yes I own one, but it should have been at least a 12 or 13 plus from the get go, without having to source aftermarket mags to get the higher capacity.

As stated above, the P365XM gives you more bang for the buck.

The list is long as to why but the one that bugs me the most is the crap sights glock includes compared to pretty much every other pistol maker. Those plastic sites are almost insulting.
Unless one has specific needs, the Glock sights work just fine for years and years. They're simple like the gun itself. I have a Gen 1.5 17 from about 1988-90. Glock replaced the frame for me and put new adjustable sights on it. That was the second set. The first just had many years of holster wear but otherwise worked fine.

I understand they work all sights work, I was talking bang for your buck. I just checked my local gun shop online and the G19MOS or arguably the G45MOS, because it matches the 365XM in capacity, are all pretty close in price. I mean heck, if I'm paying close to $700.00 out the door for a pistol.... Getting quality night sights over plastic sights is definitely something I'm going to consider. 🤷‍♂️

That, I understand. I replaced the factory sights on my G19 with Ameriglo Agents. They aren't as useful to me as night sights but you can sure pick up the front sight in a hurry during daytime.

The way I dress 99% of the time - shorts & T or casual shirt - makes it hard to CC a G19 -

I have both, P365 (3 years) and G19.4 (10 years).

I have carried the P365 close to 1,000 times and the G19 - over 10 years maybe 25 times.

I put a Hogue grip on the P365 -

I have been a Glock 19 owner since very shortly after that model was introduced and still have two Gen4s with replacement night sights. But the P365 series is hard to beat in any of it's configurations and I own them in Standard, X and XL with the XL being my favorite. One XL has a manual safety and one has a green dot sight. The 365s and my Shield Plus Optics Ready models have about put my 15-round double stacks out of the carry role for me, except in coat weather when I still pack my G19s some. I've sold off most of my 15-round double stack polymer strikers keeping only my G19s, my Walthers and an M&P 2.0 compact.

So although I don't have the Macro and likely never will, I have already voted with my choice for most carry duty and it is the P365 series and sometimes my Shield Plus models, but mostly the Sigs.

Good luck with your choice as they are both excellent.
