Choosing one, I'd still go with the 19. Choosing two (which is what I did), I'd add the standard P365. Smaller, easier to conceal, optional manual safety (which I want on a striker ccw). The only time I carry my 19 is OWB in the field and I do not carry it with a chambered round as I live in open country. If a mountain lion sneaks up on me from behind, you can all have a good laugh at my lack of preparedness...

As stated above, the P365XM gives you more bang for the buck.

The list is long as to why but the one that bugs me the most is the crap sights glock includes compared to pretty much every other pistol maker. Those plastic sites are almost insulting.
Unless one has specific needs, the Glock sights work just fine for years and years. They're simple like the gun itself. I have a Gen 1.5 17 from about 1988-90. Glock replaced the frame for me and put new adjustable sights on it. That was the second set. The first just had many years of holster wear but otherwise worked fine.

I understand they work all sights work, I was talking bang for your buck. I just checked my local gun shop online and the G19MOS or arguably the G45MOS, because it matches the 365XM in capacity, are all pretty close in price. I mean heck, if I'm paying close to $700.00 out the door for a pistol.... Getting quality night sights over plastic sights is definitely something I'm going to consider. 🤷‍♂️
That, I understand. I replaced the factory sights on my G19 with Ameriglo Agents. They aren't as useful to me as night sights but you can sure pick up the front sight in a hurry during daytime.
