Just place an order for 1000 124 HiTek bullets. Not sure how the other suppliers are doing but thought it best to order more now. Price was very competitive at $.076 each for 1k delivered.

Who the heck painted that steel?...put a few of these downrange today. I still stand by my 'thinnest coating' critique. I didn't get any leading, though, so that's a plus (didn't shoot 100+ yet, either, so we'll see).
I take responsibility for the flier (but not the paint job).

lolWho the heck painted that steel?
Damn nice data package X, I mean that's some really good work. The HiTek coating is really a primer, which is typically applied in the .0001"-.0002" range and cured at 400 degrees F for at least 10 minutes. Thinner is correct....put a few of these downrange today. I still stand by my 'thinnest coating' critique.
Still have to put on paper (just chrono and a rapid string on steel) to check accuracy, but they'll definitely put holes in paper and ping steel. I take responsibility for the flier (but not the paint job).![]()
"ProChrono DLX"Damn nice data package X, I mean that's some really good work. The HiTek coating is really a primer, which is typically applied in the .0001"-.0002" range and cured at 400 degrees F for at least 10 minutes. Thinner is correct.
Which chrono do you use?
I was doing the same with MBC, then I noticed they weren’t showing up.I’ve been ordering one quick ship pack (1100) 115gr rn a month. My wife got cranky when I ordered 4K at once and the mail man shoved the whole thing into the mailbox. She couldn’t get it out.
I thought of you today...as I put 3,750 124gr HPs from MG in my cart today.ROf course I had to mention that Montana Gold doesn't do that!
Not looking on MG site right now as I'm afraid I'd see my 147s in stock and feel compelled to order 3K. Already just received 3K RMR and 3K MG within a one week period. Have to let my postman forget about that a little bit.I thought of you today...as I put 3,750 124gr HPs from MG in my cart today.
They had a few 9mm flavors today for like 5 minutes.
I really like their bullets, too...tried more than a half dozen different 9mm bullets they sell and was impressed all the way around...in terms of weight/variance from advertised weight, they are probably the most consistent I've tried so far.MG has a good bullet buy for the money,I will stick with extreme 124s
Bring a spare battery for the chronie! In fact, Xtreme 147s are in the queue to chrono/group with some N320 this weekend.
