Complete OEM slides with barrels AND recoil springs run around $400 on the ‘Bay. Stripped slides (no barrels, recoil springs, strikers, etc.) are around $300 maybe a little less. These are new “takeoffs”.

I picked up a 43X non MOS OEM complete slide for around $400 over a year ago. Seems like they have comedown a little since then.

It is what it is…

I am very happy with mine. Runs perfect-zero issues in a few thousand rounds.

if you go the ‘Bay route, just read the feedback. As safe as any other vendor imo.

I paid right at $400 for one (complete) to put on my G48. I would not do it again. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

About $350. Stripped slides about $225.

Much more than that and I'd look elsewhere.

Ebay is known for their price gouging vendors who frequently demand up to $500 for them. Kinda dumb when it's more than the cost of a new gun.

I thought about that, but there’s value even if I don’t find one reasonable. I plan to put an EPS Carey on the 48 MOS. This way I can swap to train irons.
I have a Holosun 507k and ameriglo Hackathorn style nite sites on my 48 MOS and use the complete 43X/PSA slide for the same reason. Having the ability for the optic on the micro slide is a bonus should I ever decide put one on it. The modularity works great.

That’s my thought exactly.

Quick Google search looks like a couple places show OEM frames for $150-$200 as well.

We all have different realities…

Mine-

43X MOS: $485
Tax: $33.95
Permit: $50
NICS: $65
Ttl: $633.95

So while $400 is high, it’s not “the cost of a new gun” for me.
Glad to see the PSA Dagger Micro slides mentioned.

That is what I am considering at the moment. The partial slide with 407K mounted is looking interesting.

The modularity of one frame and swapping slides adds options for less than a second pistol purchase for me.

As always-YMMV!

😂

This what I ordered: https://palmettostatearmory.com/ble...mplete-9mm-slide-assembly-optics-ready-shield-cut-non-threaded-barrel-gray.html

They sell a LOT of Dagger compact and full size frames for 50.00 and up. There is only one micro frame they offer at this point and would imagine it would be the same price though currently is not in stock.

You could always do th email in stock option which is what I did and do for their mags.

$65 for a BGC?

In AZ with a cwp it's free, w/out, it's still free. For the time being FTF transactions are cash n carry

Yes…at the discretion of the FFL, but over the last five years it went from an average of $35 to $50 and just jumped to $65 at my LGS. Not counting the animals who are charging over $100.

Permits were raised from $2.00 to $50 by our governor recently. State gets a cut and local PD gets the other half.

Yea I know, suks to be “me” (us). Lol

One of the biggest reasons to own and stay Glock is the options available with only one frame and slide\barrel\caliber swaps. Fun and affordable.
