I was in from July 88 til Dec. 95. First 4 yrs. were in Italy with the 3/325 A.B.C.T. I'm suprised I made it out of there alive with all the parties and fights. I finished up at Ft. Bragg in the 2/504. Ft. Bragg will break a man's spirits, at least after he has been to Italy.

I was with TOG also 1986 - 1990. First at McNair with A co., got White House cleared and finished my stint at Ft. Myer with E co. Do you still have the key to Somerall Field?

have you heard the latest scandal from the 325 boys.

they were making gay porn in the barracks and putting it on a website.
the fbi had the barracks shut down and moved every one out to another barracks so they could conduct an investigation

I don't think thats exactly what went down unless I heard wrong.

Thanks, Eric.

About time!

Currently volunteered for active duty working at Human Resource Command. Prior to that, mobilized with CENTCOM. Prior to that did Ops for Chemical Command.

Been in many other units, including active duty EOD.

May be back in an EOD/CBRNE job soon!

My only combat was as a civilian contractor in Iraq. Ironic.

I was in from 1967 to 1971 ,I was in a place called Chu Lai in 1968 to 1969. Actually you might say I was over it more than in since i drove loaches and hueys most of the time. Then I went to beautiful Kileen TX at Ft Hood. Went back in the reserves for about 8 years in the 80s and did more bizarre stuff. God that seems like such a long time ago. Now i am dealing with agent orange the gift that keeps on giving with my diabetis and nerve damage.
So after being a soldier and a police forever its not like i was ever normal, but it was fun take care all

I was in Delta Co. you guys ended up with one of our platoon Sgt rejects, SFC Alonzo Dozier. Did you know him? Did you ever corrupt his ship?;e

I don't know how many times we sent a new <s>di</s>, err..., new guy to get the keys to Summerall Field, or a sling tightener, or a volley adjuster(I was in a firing party platoon).

A couple of guys I went through basic ended up in Alpha company. I only made it out to McNair a couple of times. Anway, welcome aboard. "To Us and Those Like Us... Damned Few!" Eric

Did I corrupt his ship?! SFC Dozier took me on as a pet project. He hated me with a passion. He used to have me do gorilla-ups. He would have me jump up in the air, pound my chest, and yell like a gorilla. Not sure if he was trying to humiliate or teach a lesson, I just thought it was hilarious! Luckily for me another guy looked like me so when Dozier would get pissed at me sometimes I'd see my buddy Sean doing gorilla-ups, which was also hilarious!

I've got tons of Dozier stories..man he hated me!

Anyway, I was also in the FP platoon. A few guys came over to E co. with me from Delta: Tovey and Sperry.

Good times were had for sure! Unfortunately I realize that more now than when I was in!
