Stay away from Blackhawk armory. They hosed me on a KS-7 deal.

“When people get used to preferential treatment, equal treatment seems like discrimination.”
― Thomas Sowell
For what it's worth, I have ordered from Battlehawk Armory three times and have had zero problems with them so far, other than their shipping charges on non-gun items being a little high.

World's tallest midgets.

Another polymer striker 9, in a world awash in them.

I'd rather save my money and procure something more widely in use, with a much longer track record, and a train of aftermarket parts and accessories.

Just my $.02.

Here are some things I've learned about the Mossberg MC pistols:

First, although the MC1sc and MC2sc are both very close in size to the Glock 43, they both have trigger guards with wide bases that prevent them from fitting into many holsters made for the Glock 43.

Along the same lines, although Glock 43 magazines with OEM baseplates will fit and function in the MC1sc, the Mossberg's grip extends past the rear of the mag well and this prevents most Glock 43 mags with extended baseplates (e.g., the Hyve +1) from fitting.

The recoil spring assemblies for the Glock 43/43X/48 and the Mossberg MC1sc/MC2sc are almost identical. The MC2c uses a longer single-spring RSA that might be swappable with one from a Glock 19 gen 3.

The mag tubes for the MC2sc's 14 round mag and the MC2c's 13 round mag are the same length. The followers and springs are different and so are the locations of the witness holes. By the way, both mags are very similar to the Shield Arms S15 mags for the Glock 43X/48 but won't interchange because the cut-outs for the mag catch aren't the same size.

Although the MC2c is slightly shorter than the Glock 48, the full-length accessory rail on its dust cover prevents it from fitting in Glock 48 holsters. It does "kinda" fit in some holsters made for the Glock 19.

Finally, the big drawback to the MC2sc right now is that there are no extra mags available. You get two with the pistol and that's it. Mossberg doesn't have any for sale and neither does anyone else. The mags are made in Italy (by MecGar?) so this might be one of those outsourcing supply chain issues that will take many months to resolve. MC2c mags are available and they work but they extend past the bottom of the grip.

Most who refuse to accept the fact that Mossberg released decent handguns haven’t even shot one. Like a lot of people who trash talk Taurus’s new releases. Nearly any gun released has teething issues including Glocks.
They’ll likely be very shocked to learn of Savage’s new semiautomatic pistol, too.

Unfortunately it seems, like the MC1sc that the savage handgun is obsolete before it even came out. I can only assume with the option of carrying 11-16 rounds would be a deal breaker for these 6-8 round single stack micro guns.

I believe it to be akin to Mossberg’s first iteration of their modern pistol and the line will go from a single stack to something more if interest is there.

That's prudent, especially when the high price of ammo makes it so expensive to do your own reliability testing.
Well, in September 2019 I did my own reliability testing with an early MCs1.
OMG...a 13% malfunction rate which after two trips back to Mossberg was a 5% malfunction rate. I blew through over a thousand rounds on that POS.

The classy shotgunners will stick with their Benellbergs. 😜
Own mc2c and g43x glock. G43x has horrible mag release. You need to
The only I look to Mossberg for is reliable shotguns. More Shockwaves with braces and 590A1’s, please!
Own mc2c and 43x. 43x requires index ab middle finger to be released to eject magazine. Capacity is limited to 10 rounds instead of 13 (15 extended mag). Sheild arms isn't a viable option, due to reliability issues. Steel sights vs glock cheap polymer sights. Slide smoother on mc2c. Do research prior to making comments on an issue you know nothing about. Bought into the glock hype till I tried mc2c.

Hey, welcome to the board!
Recommend YOU take a step back and practice a little reading comprehension there. I wasn’t knocking it, I just mentioned that Mossberg is a shotgun company in my opinion. I am an EXPERT in my opinion and don’t need to do any further research on my opinion.

Have a nice day. 🤠

Have you shot mc2c? Have you compared them side-by-side? I own both and have done this. The comment, "they are a shotgun company," implies that they are sub-par to 43x. The 19 is a great gun, however the 43x missed the mark on capacity and ergonomics given it's full size grip.

I was gifted a MC1sc. I was skeptical but it’s actually a pretty nice single stack subcompact. Several hundred rounds through it so far with no issues. Better trigger than a Shield 1.0. No complaints, won’t blow your mind, but no complaints.
