I have the single stack version of the RIA Ultra Tac and I'm happy with it. The only issue I'm aware of is availability of mags.

 

Looks nice to me. I'd go for it.

Double stack 1911 is not a 2011. I would pass, unless you just want a range toy.

I think it’s a good looking pistol and fun to shoot. RIA seems to have improved their reputation too, right?

They are not 2011’s

They used the one piece frame, much like Para Ordnance did back in the day.

Also, whoever field stripped it needs to learn what they’re doing.

 

Yeah, I was going to buy it, but the gun was not taken care of properly, so I passed.

 

I have the 10mm version. I like mine a lot.
