I have 2 PPQs. Wonderful pistol, enjoy! No nuthin’ about the Navy version, and the threaded barrel is fuddish to me, BUT, I am sure you will love your find.

 

The Navy has a hole in the firing pin channel to push water out when fired under water or flushed with water.
All Navy ppqs were threaded barrel pistols.

Gonna redo it and part of the front in late summer in harbor grey composite and white railing. Working on the bathrooms and installing new floors at the moment.

It is a used pistol. I stand corrected, it's BH so it's a 2017 .

 

If it's 2017, it has the updated barrel hood. Nice.

 

The PPQ is a great shooting gun with a nice trigger but is it just me or does it look like a slimmed down version of a Hi-Point?

I guess any polymer pistol with a high bore axis can be said to look like a Hi Poinr.

A high bore axis is the least of a Hi Point’s problems. The zinc slide, Mattel quality plastic, and straight blowback design are bigger issues.

 

Funny, every polymer pistol in comparison is to Glock and Highpoint..

 

Nah, just some of the Walthers look like Hi-points. I have both so it doesn't hurt my feelings. Don't worry, I think stock/factory Glocks are plain Jane. Walther does have some great looking models and their triggers are light years ahead of how the non GPT factory Glock feels but some models do resemble Hi-Points - not a putdown or an insult as Hi-Points are tough as nails and come with a no questions asked lifetime warranty.

 

I've never bashed Highpoint, my brother owns a c9. It's been replaced I believe twice since 2007 and he's beat the crap out of it and their customer service should be a model for some not so good customer service gun companies.
But I seriously 100% believe that walthers don't look like Highpoint in no way.
There's no pistol that looks like Highpoint but Highpoint.
They own that 🏆.

I still don't see the reference or resemblance at all.. Never did ,even before going down the Walther rabbit hole.
