I have never had any problems whatsoever with the 36. Fits my hand well, and shoots great. Fast follow up shots come very smooth and easy.

Both get toted about using Glock’s well designed Sport Combat Holster. The finest $15 holster in the known universe. The narrow one for the G36. Wider one for the 45’s and 10 mm.

Think it was a great choice, and hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for sharing. Had so many friends try to convince me to buy the 30 or 30s. I handled at LGS (didn’t get chance to shoot) and just didn’t feel right, although I know have more capacity and ‘supposedly’ less feed issues. The 36 just feels right to me. Going to take out tomorrow and run some rounds through it.

w doesn’t look like much and can’t argue with extra capacity, but 36 just felt better to me. With the hyve +1 really does feel like the 36X. Again another reason I’ve got hooked on Glocks are the options they offer in most popular cartridges and consistency. Thanks for sharing.

I've been extremely happy with both my 30S (my normal CCW) and my 21. The 30S took me a few range sessions to adjust to as I had been carrying a 19, but once I got used to the recoil impulse it's been my EDC. Great pistols IMO.

I really like the new avatar....met my wife at OSU and have nothing but fond memories of living in Columbus. O-H

I was all set on a 36 a few years ago then got talked out of it for reliability reasons. Im looking forward to your range report and what you feel about it.

Congratulations!
I understand. One of reasons I was hesitant to purchase - reliability and misfeed issues. But saw a lot of recent reviews very positive and stating gun was ahead of its time. Good to see so many posts and replies from actual owners who have carried gun for years with no issues!

I have had several. I had a bad one that I eventually fixed before selling it. The one I have now is great. Does anyone have one with the light rail? I would buy one if I ever saw one for sale.

I owned one briefly over a decade ago and never could get used to the way it felt in my hands. The front to back length of the grip combined with a narrower width just wasn't for me. By comparison, I thought the G30 and G21 felt more natural in hand.

Reliability wise, mine was fine.

I’ve had one for almost ten years now and haven’t hit 1000 rounds yet. I had issues with failures to extract causing a double feed malfunction. Seemed to be caused by gun slipping in hand under recoil. I added sandpaper texture talon grip tape and undercut the trigger guard. Hasn’t happened since. The low round count is because I mostly shoot and carry G19’s.

I honestly thought I’d made mistake when it arrived but the Hyve extension made a big difference. So far has fed flawlessly.
