Yes I know it’s the red head step sister of the slimline series, but latest addition to my Glock family arrived today and just picked up. I wanted to replicate as much as possible my 43X. Ordered Hyve +1 with replacement spring and hoping with good grip won’t have any feed issues.

Joins my 21, 23, and 43X, and hopefully soon a 45.

I owned one briefly over a decade ago and never could get used to the way it felt in my hands. The front to back length of the grip combined with a narrower width just wasn't for me. By comparison, I thought the G30 and G21 felt more natural in hand.

Reliability wise, mine was fine.

I honestly thought I’d made mistake when it arrived but the Hyve extension made a big difference. So far has fed flawlessly.

I’ve had one for almost ten years now and haven’t hit 1000 rounds yet. I had issues with failures to extract causing a double feed malfunction. Seemed to be caused by gun slipping in hand under recoil. I added sandpaper texture talon grip tape and undercut the trigger guard. Hasn’t happened since. The low round count is because I mostly shoot and carry G19’s.
