^^^^This.^^^^I used white nail polish. Apply, let dry, use (non-acetone) nail polish remover and a cotton pad to take off the excess. The color remains in the lettering, it’s simple and lasts.
I then use a little rubbing alcohol to ensure the slide is clean of any nail polish remover and apply some lube to the slide overnight for preservation.
And here come the trolls...Dumb idea,leave it alone.
I did for my wife. I used hot pink nail polish. Once it was on i used nail polish remover to get rid of the excess. Using a q tip helped.
Heck, I was going to post how it is stupid to paint the lettering... but that actually looks kinda cool for the wife...
