A lot of horsepower in a package that can be comfortably carried and shot well.
Why? Why can't I have that?

Always liked the ballistic values of that .41 mag round. You could absolutely be right. I thought the .41 mag was going to be a good solution until I tried it. I still have it, but I don't use it for anything.

If that was a Ruger you'd probably have a buyer here
I know you said it was too loud, it's the nature of the beast, as I think others have said.
Anything bigger in a pistol format is not likely to be any quieter.
I've got an old model Blackhawkm in 41 Mag. I love it.Always liked the ballistic values of that .41 mag round.

Totally valid point. If LAR made the Grizzley in a double action configuration I would have got one a long time ago.It seems to me the OP just wants a .45 Win Mag and is going through a bunch of gymnastics to justify it. If you want one, buy one. I've never understood people that say things like, "I really want XYZ gun but I don't have a need for it so I can't buy one." Don't get me wrong, I understand not buying a gun due to finances but if money isn't an issue why not buy what you want?
:rofl:Ruger is coming out with the LC480...
Why is double action a requirement?Totally valid point. If LAR made the Grizzley in a double action configuration I would have got one a long time ago.
