Can anyone tell me if the 1911 and 2011 fits in the same holsters?

I assume you're talking about the SV and STI 2011's? If the holster only covers the slide/dust shield area, you should be OK. I've tried mine in a military style flap holster, and they don't fit.

I have a Blade-Tech made for an STI Edge, and a 5" 1911 will work, just need to adjust the tension.

On the flip side, I have a 1911 w/X300 holster and it works with my STI Tactical 4.15 w/x300.

Thanks Quake. I'm going to be shooting a Eagle for IPDA and if I decide to shoot my 1911 in CPD with a friend I was wanting to be able to use the same holster.
