Sooo... I SNAGGED one!

Been lusting after the EXTAR EP9... but it's constantly snagged / highly wanted because of the price and weight...

BUT - PSA has their PSA Gen4 10.5" 9mm 1/10 9" Lightweight Hex MLOK MOE SBA3 Pistol on sale for $650 - Regularly $1,119.00 !!!:love: TAKES GLOCK MAGS!!!

Love the Keltec Sub 3000, but it's an interesting cleaning process that is... unusual... :rolleyes:

The initial reviews were both excellent.

AND... there is just ONE space left in the safe!!! :D Good thing I picked up 5 new Magpul 21 round mags...

I'll update this post after the first range session...(y)

Not trying to burst your bubble, but don't expect it to be lightweight. In the description, they mention the lightweight rail, not the rifle. My 8" version is heavy. This is the barrel

I thought about switching to a lighter barrel, but it works good now, so I'm afraid to change it

These have popped up on sale a few times. One of which is when I picked up my 10.5 PX-9 AR9

Thanks to all for the feedback... UPS finally delivered to the FFL/Quickshot Range. It was a busy day, so I'll have to go back for the FFL handoff...

THEN we will know the full story!

I have to believe this will still be lighter than the Model A UZI Semiauto! Roughly 8lbs, then add 32 rounds of 9mm ammo... It was a heavy dude!!! {sigh} Still missing that wonderful piece of history... 😢 Picked it up for around $600 in the 90's!!! Just before those ugly Glocks were released {sigh}.

Came with a 27 round magazine and an 'online manual'... ? :unsure: Whaz up with the online manual you say??? Gosh... it's kinda weak, but then again it's just another AR with 9mm conversions...

Looking to have a Range Report come Friday... or possibly early next week post sighting in!

The controls fit me nicely, should be easy to sight in! Got a Sparq AR and a Sig Saur Romeo for red dots... and a set of Kiro 'iron' sights AKA plastic! We shall see bout this...

Gonna be a fun time!

Sweet! How does it feel weight wise? I saw on PSAs site that the 10.5" barrel doesn't have heavy profile like my 8.5"

Enjoy! I've shot one a few times. Reliable with Glock mags, not so much with aftermarket (unsuprisingly). Accurate enough, no complaints there.

Recoil is pretty brutal for a 9mm, as is expected with the blowback action. There are some ways to remedy this which I would recommend.

Ahhh... I wondered why there was no weight provided... Yeah, it's 8lbs!!!

Hmmm... May need to keep looking for an Extar EP9... :unsure:

I'm thinking the longer barrel will be a bit more accurate...

The “lightweight” refers to the hand guard.
