I love using the big boys for sure! It's a true trade off.I like big sights and I cannot lie. It's like going from a tube television to a big screen TV.
Some sights just can't be made to direct mount. But I agree. I would NEVER run a plate system.I see many MOS guns with adapter plates with different optics. I used Holosun scs mos with no plate. Can’t imagine why mos guns would want anything else. Someone please explain
For sure. I haven't found a red dot that was big enough to be uncomfortable or cause printing when IWB. I also haven't tried anything unreasonably big though.I love using the big boys for sure! It's a true trade off.
IMO the COA "ain't it" but the excitement and hype is driving people's interest. Right now it's a 1k+ investment for the sight because you have to buy the whole package.Aimpoint COA Window Size: 0.59″ x 0.59″
Holosun SCS Window Size: 0.58" x 0.77"
The benefit of the COA over the SCS is the enclosed emitter.
They're really on the "streets" at $899 which isn't an expensive price for a pistol with no sight these days.Right now it's a 1k+ investment for the sight because you have to buy the whole package.
Yeah I guess if you're a glock guy and you're okay with taking up space with multiples of the same thing. Makes sense for that person. They're really on the "streets" at $899 which isn't an expensive price for a pistol with no sight these days.
If you're Glock guy, this is just another pistol in your Glock stable. I spent more on 2 glocks in the last month or so that the price of this set up.
That said, I'm not buying one of these because I'm a G22 shooter. I don't need or want a 9mm pistol.
That's really a great price if the COA is all that it's supposed to be. I was sure Aimpoint was going to make the sight $800 alone based on their Effed up prices on their other sights.I picked up the 48 locally for $840. I really like it. Haven’t shot it yet, but just practicing drawing etc around the house I really like it. Much smaller than a Acro P2. I’d like to pick up the G45 version as well.
Very attractive pricing. Pretty much getting an Aimpoint for Holosun pricing. The double stacks look like they are selling for $940 locally, but no stock at the moment. That's really a great price if the COA is all that it's supposed to be. 44 MOS… is that new?On another note…. Glock is now offering some direct mount blue labels that include optics…. View attachment 1364502
Pretty sure that’s an error. Probably 45MOS.44 MOS… is that new?
It’s such a good deal and I know aimpoint makes great dots but dang that optic is so big. Have you carried it yet to notice if there is a difference in printing?View attachment 1364710
$850 at my LGS
It's the same width as a 507K and only slightly taller. Your biggest issue concealing is the grip on any gun, not an attachment north of the slide. In this case, there's no noticable difference between this gun and the 507K on my 48 MOS.It’s such a good deal and I know aimpoint makes great dots but dang that optic is so big. I understand the grip is the main point of printing I can also see my optic ever so slightly with my eps and eps carry. No big deal really. I also realize this optic is bigger but it only give the illusion of sitting higher because of how deep the optic cut is.It's the same width as a 507K and only slightly taller.
