I haven't seen a PSA pistol close up because PSA won't ship ANYTHING to my state/county. I was able to get some PSA mags for my 48 through my daughter out of state.
What turned me off was the look of the PSA's trigger. Wide and flat, but curved. I dunno. Are the Micro Dagger pistols compatible with 3rd party Glock 48 (or other) Glock Parts? If you buy the PSA Micro Dagger and need a part how readily available will the part be? I've clumsily lost striker spring cups, had an extractor plunger fly across the room into oblivion, lost a spring to the slide lock. Easily replaced. Will that be the case with PSA?

All I know is that the 48, as rough as the parts can be out of the box, is easily refined and optimized. The Glock plastic sights don't bother me though I did replace them with night sights for under $70. I'm a fan of Johnny Glock's modified smooth face OEM shoe for $22. With the Glock you get two 10 rd mags. So just get two or more PSA 15 rd mags for $32 each (or not if you're ok with the two 10 rd mags that come with the 48) and you're in business.

Last last I checked it takes the same trigger as the 43X/48. That said I actually prefer the Dagger trigger. I’ve swapped it into several Glocks and Glock variants, like my P80s. Here’s my Gen 5 G26 with a Dagger trigger installed.

So will the 48
It doesnt make much sense if someone had a choice between G vs PSA MD. If reliability is the factor between G vs MD, well magazines are one of the weakest links. And then you have to buy PSA mags to run in a G and store away oem, when PSA MD comes with PSA mags and already almost $200+ cheaper.

Whether you are willing to spend more for a Glock is up to you. But since you brought up reliability then it’s germane to keep in mind PSA has rarely had new firearms go without issues in its first Gen release. The Dagger was no exception. So back to my point. The 48 will accept the MD mags.

I actually just snagged a micro dagger this last Friday. I called psa and spoke to tech support about the parts interchangeability from the G48 to the micro dagger. I ordered the Sniper Green C1. I really liking the compensated slide also. I sold my g48 a while back and it wasn't the mos, but kept the shield arms mag release & mag, the ghost connector, extended slide stop, and etc. I think I will grab a poly dat trigger with bar if I don’t like this trigger. I am hoping to get it this week to take it to the range and give it a run!

Let me know. Cant find to many "good" videos on reviews with the micro dagger.

That PSA trigger shoe looks scary on a couple different levels. It appears that the lower part of the trigger IS the safety lever. Is my observation of the function wrong? Could it be more of a problem if snaggged?

Not to side-track the OP's thread of G vs PSA choice too far...
That aside, I've learned that the trigger shoe can be extremely personal. So much so that in my exploration of different shoes there were small refinements to almost all the shoes that I tested. In the end I seem to have ended up with Johnny Glock's $22 trigger shoes in both my Glocks even though his aluminum flat face and Vex shoes are in my bin.

The trigger is very much like the FN 509 and similar guns.

No. Been carrying a Dagger off and on since I picked mine up. I also carry the aforementioned G26.5 with that trigger.

I was never a fan of the S&W hinged triggers. I had stated openly that the first thing to get swapped out on the Dagger after I got it would be the trigger. I tended to favor a flat face trigger. But to my surprise I ended up liking the Dagger’s trigger. So much so that I’ve been swapping it into several of my Glocks or Glock variants. Even if I had to modify it to do so. (Gen 5s). Give it a try before you dismiss it outright. You may end up enjoying it.

I'd love to get my hands on the PSA trigger shoe just because I enjoy exploring this stuff.

In the market for a slim line "Glock". Been looking hard at the PSAs. Really like that the C-1 comes with a comp but maintains the 48 length. Also really want to buy in on the reality of Glock reliability. Just want some opinions and real-world experience before purchase. View attachment 1263917

I own several Glocks, Berettas, CZs, FNs and Springfields. I have a PSA Dagger Compact and now a PSA Micro Dagger C1. I've now put 1000 rds through it without cleaning, only lube and had 1 failure to feed. The only malfunction, and let me tell you this gun is great. The Ported slide erases recoil for me and keeps it flat, and the trigger feels much crisper when shooting vs dry fire. I've purposely put different weights and brands of fmj and defensive hollow points and monolithic rds through it with the one malfunction. The only pain is it took me a while to get more mags as they are always out if stock. The Micro only comes with one mag. I now have 4. Don't listen to the fudds or the guys who are talking without ever handling or shooting the gun.

PSA is on to something. Virtually a non-Glock-Glock pistol and components. Sadly PSA will not ship to my area though most of their products are legal in my area (except currently semi-auto rifles of any kind. Thanks Putzker).
Their Micro dagger mags are quite reliable and I was able to get hold of a couple via my son-in-law in Tennessee.

You just reminded me to check... PSA got some mags in stock and I just had S-I-L order me two more mags. Thanks.

Sct 43x frame, Brownell slide 48 and barrel, OEM internals.
Better undercut, grip angle and texture. Been 100% for me.

Have a dagger and I have shot a good few rounds through it without choking

Have an integral comped slide g19 with sct frame and one thing you need to be aware of before adding any comp is the gas volume needed for reliable function unless you feel like playing with recoil springs every time you change ammo/loads.

You guys do realize all PSA Daggers are a Glock patent clone right? Glock gen 3 specifically for the sub/full Dagger. Slimline isn't any different. There's a reason the slides are interchangeable between the two.
Interesting how they can do that without patent infringement. Certainly with the gen3 platform, but not sure how they are avoiding lawsuit with the slimline.

I don't think anyone else is making a slim platform clone frame.
