OK, I'll be the outlier here. When I was working in a gun store I was impressed with the apparent quality of the Dagger pistols. I believe that for most of us, those firearms would be good enough. Having a firearm capable of lasting through a 50,000 round torture test would be great, but realistically I'm only going to fire a fraction of those rounds during my use of it. When I have a chance, I'll buy one of the Micro Dagger X-1 models, because I don't want a ported barrel on a self defense gun. Of course I'll test with my carry ammunition; 300 fmj and 200 of my carry hollow points is what I do. If it passes that, I'll consider it good to go. My last two handgun purchases were a Shadow Systems MR920 and a Glock G48 MOS. With each I was unimpressed with the smoothness of the trigger bars and connectors. Both had jagged edges on their connectors that required stoning. Nothing is perfect and I'm willing to do that for a smooth trigger pull. But I'm also willing to give a PSA product a chance.
