my belt, without posting a photo is simple. from right to left, OC, gun, baton, cuffs, skip glove pouch for the sake of my back, radio, taser, 2x mag pouch / cuff holster. I gave up on that glove pouch eons ago, puffed up, sitting right on my spine. I am young and still don't want crap back there. every year I go to training and I see guys with cuff cases directly in line with their spine. they are one fight away from a career ending injury. I don't want a damned thing between my 4 and 8 o clock position on belt.

Being honest some of you guy n Gal must carry in neighborhood of 35-40 pounds of gear.

I will fast for you people who make past birthday number 70, I will be willing to bet you will have back & neck problems.

Don't have a photo of mine to post but kind of proud, I recently lost over 100 lbs from a high of 271# and was able to fit my old Don Hume leather duty belt from 30 + years ago. Feels like a real accomplishment. I noticed in the pics that are posted that none of them included a Taser. Are that many departments getting away from using them?
Well 100 pound weight loss is fabulous, congratulations on this major life accomplishment.

You should be very proud.👍

Not really a duty belt but my current duty carry is:

The reason that there are two pistols is because I have the option of a G43 or a G27. It is all carried on a Hank's Belt (black) or Vedder Holsters (brown) gun belt. I have ordered double mag carriers that match the saddle tan leather as well.

When I wear a belt. Mostly worn when I’m having to pretend to be a supervisor, and sit at a desk all night with a paddle holster and radio till I’m called for or I get bored.

Left to right
Bianchi Double Mag pouch. Cold steel tucked in.
Serpa with X26P
Blackhawk Radio Holster
Torch loop
Jframe in my pocket.
Asp in Safariland
Glock 22 in a Safariland
Bianchi with S&W cuffs.
OC pouch. NĂtrale gloves in pocket.

Are most departments in your state still carrying .40 S&W? It was the dominant duty load when I was there. MSP had just switched to Gen 4 G17/G26. I was hoping others would follow (6 years later). My last dept. in SE MI is just now thinking about making the move to 9mm (G45s, most likely).

It’s honestly a mix most of the Sheriff Department’s in the area are still rocking the .40. But MSP is going to be transitioning for the 3rd time in 7 years to the G17/G45 RMR.

Our federal overlords are trying to make us switch to the G45 G43 combo.

BIA?

I wonder if any of the MI departments are still carrying .357 Sig. I went to Oakland with a guy who was always in the range stall next to me. During range days I’d develop beads of sweat on my forehead from the muzzle flash from his .357 P226.

A few of our new folks are getting M&Ps issuedwith the RMR slide. I’d like to say we are getting red dots, but who the hell knows?

Yes the BIA.
I love the Oakland academy it’s always a good time. I think I’ve seen two Cops with .357 sigs. One had a G35 converted, the other didn’t know much about guns and just bought a used pistol (Springfield XD).

If I went to an agency that gave me latitude I’d probably go with the Sig 320 RXC. Yeah all bullets have advanced but I just want more of them.

He wasn’t there that I knew of. I had a UOF instructor course.

Fred that belt is beautiful. I just love the ALS paired up with the 1911 and leather. It looks noir but super functional.

Thanks, I love the ALS, about as fast of a draw as my CCW holsters. I almost went with a level 2 leather with the snap, but did not think trying to re snap the holster would be a good idea if things get hectic vs just holstering the ALS.

The great weakness and strength of the ALS fast to draw fast to reholster. The faster to be relieved of your firearm.

I don't wear a duty belt anymore and can carry a smaller 9mm than my issued G19. Here is a picture of my personally purchased duty gun and bug. Hopefully this will be my set up for a long while.
