I started the academy the same month I joined GT. I bought a Gen 2 model 22 for the academy and it was malfunction city. I came here to try and figure out what to do to get it running.

I am about to hit 21 years of service. If I stayed at my first agency rather than moving, I could have retired last November. 🫠

Unfortunately, (or fortunately) I decided to move around. I spent two years each at my first two agencies, then 8 years at the next and now I'm on 9 years at this place, come August 15th.

I work at an investigative agency now without a patrol division, and don't usually wear a traditional duty belt. I have a battle belt with all the ranger green doohickies for when I'm in the field rounding up bandits, but most of the time I pocket carry a G26. 😆

My new Springfield Operator should be here any day and I'll update my photo accordingly.

I moved most of my gear to my vest. So my belt is pretty slim, my back sure feels better. View attachment 1101983

I lurked this thread when I was still a young Marine. I went into law enforcement and have since retired.

Cochese I remember when you and a few other used it as a social post talking about Trailerblazer SS and everyone rocked a long slide G35.
