I looked through previous posts, but didn't find the specific answer.

I have a Gen 2 G17 2 pin frame, and the 2 pin locking block I ordered doesn't fit.

Were there 2 different locking blocks for 2 pin G17s?

Last 2 letters of Serial is KM, which if I'm reading the date of production correctly, would be 05? Which would be when Gen 3s were well into production, so not sure if that helps.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for tracking down the part, ID number, or a pic??

Thanks!

A quick check of the Armorer's Manual (EN 31997 04-2021), page 85, shows one Locking Block only, for both Gen 1 and Gen 2.

It appears to be this one, listed as "sold out" on MGW:

However, Numrich seems to have it in stock at $35.42:

You likely received a 2-pin locking block for an older G19/G26, or a locking block for the current generation 5 G17. For generations 1-4 9mms, the locking block for a G17 is different from the G19/G26s. Of course, after 2001/2002, 9mms became 3-pins.

Only with the gen 5 9mms did Glock make uniform locking blocks for all three of their 9mms, and they're 2-pins.

Post a picture of what you have and are asking about. I have a Gen 2 2-pin Glock. It has a 1-pin locking block but is a 2-pin pistol all together. Some people call these different names and never mention the or count the rear plastic pin in the grip section. I also have a 1-pin locking block on my Gen 3 Glock 19 that is factory stock.

I just now caught this. Had I paid more attention I would have caught it before.

OP probably needs a 1 pin locking block.
