Which weapon do you think is better? Both are light weight, strike fired and same inches....

I agree wholeheartedly.I'd prefer a P10C over the VP9.
DHS tested the Gen 5 Model 17 and it performed well. Very well, in fact. It was the most reliable pistol they tested at 25,000 Mean Rounds Between Failure.Reliability and durability are fine. So long as it's not a newly released pistol. Their new pistols suck because they use customers to beta test them.
I just don't like Glocks because their ergonomics are terrible and they are overpriced for what they are.
Glock has an excellent marketing strategy. Its a $350 gun that they sell to the public for $500, to make up for giving them away to military and police.
You can’t deny that the majority of Glock releases suffer problems initially that require correction. They sort them out fairly quickly, but the facts are the facts.DHS tested the Gen 5 Model 17 and it performed well. Very well, in fact. It was the most reliable pistol they tested at 25,000 Mean Rounds Between Failure.
So, I’ll say that Glock has the most demonstrable history of reliability (despite the Brass to the Face for later model Gen3 and early Gen 4 pistols).
And SOCOM adopted them for some not unimportant reason(s).
That said, I like the VP9, the Compact PDP seems like it will perform well in my hands, I freaking adore the CZ P-10C.

No. I will not buy 10 magazines. Of course i will think the cost because i want it for everyday carry, for duty and for dry fire. All are perfectly fine. Like the majority here seems to be saying, I also prefer the VP9.
But the Glock has cost and ease of repair advantages. The odds of needing major repairs are so low, I would shoot them and see if the ergonomics of the VP9 justify the slight bump in upfront costs.
Longer term, Glock magazines are usually less than half the cost of H&K magazines (at least in the United States). If you need to buy ten magazines, that pushes the economic advantage even more strongly in the Glock direction.
I have Glocks, but do prefer the VP9 for shooting and natural fit/feel, and I accept the price penalty of the magazines.
Magazines are wearable/disposable items.No. I will not buy 10 magazines. Of course i will think the cost because i want it for everyday carry, for duty and for dry fire.
Why ? How do you choose that pistol so easy ?The G45.
4" (ish) barrel seems to be a real sweet spot for a duty gun, IMO.G45.
It's what I carry at work, and I've grown to really like it.
I carry it, its a more refined 19X, which if you have actually handled and shot one, will most likely be found to seat itself better in hand, while exhibiting superior balance, and ergonomics! I reject the Hk out of hand as I just have no love for them, while the Walther I have yet to even lay hand upon. I believe the Glock-45 to be distinctly superior to the Hk, I cannot say anything about the Walther one way or the other. Why ? How do you choose that pistol so easy ?
Fascinating, I can't say I see this. The much maligned "lip" on the 19X grip is a plus for me (gives my off hand pinky a little ledge) and I much prefer the 19X finish to the super slick Gen 5. Also, no front serrations, which looks much better IMO and aren't needed with the tacky finish vs the, again, really slick Gen 5 finish.I carry it, its a more refined 19X
Why donyou prefer 4 inc barrel ?4" (ish) barrel seems to be a real sweet spot for a duty gun, IMO.
Said by a guy who's never had to carry a gun for a living in his life![]()
i've had all three. still have the G45 & PDP. after shooting the VP9 for a bit, my trigger finger would get sore. haven't had the PDP all that long. i love the grip & trigger on it.Which weapon do you think is better? Both are light weight, strike fired and same inches....
Me personally because any longer any my eyes have issues finding the front sight quickly. Both vision and the fact that I'm colorblind. Why donyou prefer 4 inc barrel ?
