This is my first try . I think I need a bit more practice , but I do like the aggressive texture , and feel .

Couple days on and off. I keep wanting to try a good boarder but that worries me that it’ll be weak. Kinda like one of those plastic sheets that you just push the parts out of.Awesome Job , I like that a lot . How Long did it take you to do it ?
Haha glocks are so cheap it’s about worthless to worry about resale. That being said my second try at it I ended up selling for more than I paid for the gun. Not because I was selling it but because a guy at the range offered me cash for itStippling, professional or DIY, creates an almost mystical and unbreakable bond between the pistol and the owner... especially when the owner tries to sell the pistol.![]()
Right here is who done your examples. Might as well get it done by them, right? Not bad at all Tomcat! I am trying to find a place that will laser stipple. Examples below.

Agreed, I put a talon grip with the sandpaper texture on my g36 when I first got. It was great for shooting the gun, But just like you said horrible for c.c. like wearing a wood rasp against your body. And cover garments hung up on it constantly. They lasted about a week.if its for concealled carry your clothing will prob latch on like velcro now.. had a s&w 2.0 that was nice while shooting but while in carry mode tore skin on body and shirts stuck to it like glue. one of the reasons i parted with it. the sig 320 in its factory config is about best of both worlds as you can get imho
Thank you , If you look at the top area above the Sig Sauer letters it looks a little funky , because I started the stipple with the fine point . I didn't like the feel , and look so I started over with a different tip .Looks pretty good to me, great first try.
I have to mod the stock Glock grip to work for me anyway . Undercut trigger guard , remove finger groove humps . I have large paws , and the stock grip doesn't work for me .Silly question. Why potentially harm a firearm, when you can get some stick on talon grips. They come off, you can clean off the remaining residue in the event you may actually want to sell it someday.
Thank you , I haven't had that problem . Maybe my cover shirt material is different .As someone who has never tried stippling, your project looks pretty good to me. Some one mentioned that the texture can grab clothing. Has this been an issue for you with this project?
Thank you very much for your kind words .Very good job, Tomcat10. I would've never guessed that was your first.
Happy Holidays.
Thank you , Your too kind I just try and not get in too much of a rush .Looks fantastic! Wish my first try was that good or even close to it...
Not bad. I use a smaller tip, it's more sticky but I like it. I like the shape of yours, so far my favorite is the Valkyrie Combat DragonScale, but I like my own style. I've stippled a Walther, numerous AR grips, angled foregrips, and about 35 pmags so I feel experienced now. I use a Weller Station, with standard tips nothing fancy. I find the technique yields a consistent look. I'm planning on doing a older XD Tac but I'm debating the pattern and whether I should remove and re-shape the grip. I have never re-shaped a grip, just stippled. This is my first try . I think I need a bit more practice , but I do like the aggressive texture , and feel .
