Looks pretty good to me for a first try. I have never tried stippling but don't think I have the patience for it. I'd get half way through the process and put the petal to the metal and butcher it.

I use diamond files to knock down any clothing and skin damaging areas.

Looks like it offers a very secure grip.

It does , but I may need to tone it down a bit to keep from snagging on clothing , like AngelDeville suggested .

I'm not a big stippling fan but that looks good. Great job, especially for your first try.

Thank you for being so kind . I did a little grinding on a wood burning iron tip with a Dremel . I started on one edge , and rotated the iron , and the grip , as I worked my way down the grip .

Pictures of stipple looks good to me. Never had courage to try yet.

Thank you very much . Just give it a try on something like the glock free speed loader . I had a P 320 grip I wasn't going to use , so I gave it a shot .

Not a fan of 99% DIY but that looks like actual factory molding (maybe clean up the top edge).

Stippling, professional or DIY, creates an almost mystical and unbreakable bond between the pistol and the owner... especially when the owner tries to sell the pistol.

Like some others here, I'm not necessarily a fan of stippling, but what you've done so far looks really good! Especially for your first attempt. I hope the other side turns out the same way.
