Will be using on a 12 Gauge Mossberg Shockwave and on a Mossberg 88 Security(going to have to buy 2 lights) for home defense.
I will be using a NcStar mount that slides on the 88 security magazine tube.
On the Shockwave will either be Mounting in front of the slide or on top of the receiver.
If mounting in front of the slide I do not want the light to stick out farther than the barrel does.
However I mount ,I want to be able to easily turn the light on and off via a rear push button or rear switch.
A light with the ability to be Mounted close to the Magazine tube or close to the reciever, and relatively light weight.
The Main thing is the ability to stand up to the recoil of 12 Gauge 2 3/4 inch 00 Buckshot at 1300Feet per second ammo.If it wont stand up to recoil then I don't need it.
I want a light that uses easily available batteries from a store such as Walmart or Sportsmans warehouse, academy sports etc.
As bright as possible for Target Id and to disorientate a bad guy intruder ,for the money that I am willing to spend, which is $125.00 or less per light.
Thanks for your input
I would appreciate your experience concerning this topic
