Sorry if this is the wrong place for this question. I don't come here often enough to really get the hang of using this site.

My question is this:
I've seen pics/video of guys running a Glock 19 barrel in their 26, and that's kinda interesting, but I've also seen much longer replacement barrels, up to 9" for Glocks.

Will ALL of them function in a 26? What is the cutoff point for barrel length in a Glock 26?

That works for oem barrels, but you can still get longer aftermarket ones. Like an aftermarket extended G19 barrel will work, but I don't know what length limitation there would be concerning excess stress on locking block, etc.

Seems to me that Lone Wolf Dist has XL G19 barrels ... And, never hurts to give them a call about it.

They have always been really helpful to me.

Lone Wolf has a 9" barrel that fits a G19, (which would also fit a G26). They also have 17 and 34 length barrels that fit a 19 or 26. These are intended to allow you to use a 17 or 34 slide on your 19 with a LWD spacer to fill the gap between the frame and slide. All these barrels have compact/subcompact locking lugs instead of full size lugs.

I think with heavy loads it would work ok, the weight will slow the
slide down and cause jams.

In my g27 I use a 5.3'' 40 barrel and shoot 180gr at 1225fps with Hodgdon
load data, still need a comp to slow the slide speed down to keep
from jamming, also shoot other safe but fast loads in 357sig and 9mm
that develop some pretty fast slide speed, mostly UW.

Not sure I quite get wanting to make the G26 bigger in both directions but best of luck.
