Hey all.
Me and a buddy of mine would like to try one of these holsters marketed as "STICKY" holsters that have some unique material on the outside that enables it to stay in place with your weapon without the use of a belt.
I want to try it with my Bersa Thunder 380 and PPK/s, I don't know what he wants to try it with, I think it might be one of those Baby 380 pistols made by AMT back in the day.
There are several companies making them now. Remora, Sticky Holsters, Blackhawk and Clinger Holsters. There's probably more, but those are the ones I know about.
I've seen a few posts about the Blackhawk. It's called the TecGrip. I don't know much about the others though. The STICKY seems to get more positive comments than the Remora, but that's just a very general observation.
I'd like to know which one works the best at what it's supposed to do. If you have had one or have experience with one of these holsters, please post your thoughts.
Thank you for your time and help.
Have a great week!
Larry
P.s. Just to clarify, if and when I get one of these, I won't be using it for all day Carry. It will be for the stuff like quick rubs to the store, a short trip to get a bit to eat, stuff like that. Just cases where I'll be carrying for a short period of time. I'd have to get one and make sure that it does what it claims before I'd trust it for longer Carry times.
