What websites do you like to buy guns from?

What websites are the best (prices, variety of inventory, good deals, etc) to buy Glocks, Sigs, and other guns from?

I have been using mostly Palmetto State Armory, but their handgun selection hasn't been great lately.

I've been wanting to get a G19 (or maybe G19x) or a Sig P229, and have it shipped to my FFL.

What are y'all's favorite websites for buying guns?

Thanks for your help!!

I have used, in no specific order:

AIM Surplus
Buds Guns
Kentucky Gun Co.
Palmetto State Armory
Classic Firearms
Osage County Guns
Recoil Gunworks
Yep, I would add GunBuyer.com

First of all, I will never buy from Palmetto State Armory again.
(Lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng wait time, between placing order and item actually being shipped. IF I had wanted to wait almost 2 months, I could have ordered from another shop.)

Same for Bud's. Was in their store in TN, and they REFUSED to sell anything to me and/or my son, because we live in Maryland. (Wouldn't even sell a box of ammo.)

With that out of the way, one of my favorite website/shop to do business with is:

Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore.
Fast service. Fast shipping. NO problems....... period.

Their customer service is garbage. They straight up tried to rip me off. I had to have the credit card company step in. Palmetto State Armory can go to hell.

I generally buy from who has the best price, as long as their reputation is good.

I had an exceptionally long wait from Sportsman's on a FN .40 that I bought a while back. I mean it took weeks. I found Kentucky Gun Co. to be fast and they keep you updated with emails along the way. Their customer service people are super nice too, and they answer the phone. For used/police trade Glock's, AIM Surplus has been my go to. And I bought a red box preowned Sig P320 from Classic Firearms about a year ago. It looked brand new and came with a new set of night sights on it.

One I forgot to mention was King's Firearms Online. I've bought a few police trade Glock's and Sig's from them as well as an HK. Easy people to deal with.

I’ve used Buds a few times and outside of the seemingly long time they take to ship between payment and getting the gun out the door (10 days+) I’ve been happy.

Oakland Guns down in Arkansas are great folks and offer 10-month no interest layaway that you don’t have to pre-qualify for (Oaklandguns.com) that I’ll order from sometimes but much of my stuff I’ll get off GunBroker.

I havent bought a lot online but the ones I have is

CDNN(a shotgun)
Buds Guns(wifes Pavona Pistol)

Gunbroker( bought 3 guns from that and had 2 good experiences 1 bad. 2 pistols were good(XD 9MM and the S&W model 41 target pistol... the shotgun the guy tried to rip me off and sell it in store after I had already won the auction)

AIM Surplus got a Browning Hi Power from them

Kentucky gun Co bought a AK74 from them..awesome deal BTW back years ago AK74 3 mags for $279

Ive also used PSA and RedBarn but that was more lowers and AR parts than full guns////though sometimes PSA had a good sale on guns also..almost got a Shield from them for like $250 I think??

Never bothered with buying from an online company. Even if they have free shipping you still have to pay all the FFL and background fees. No 'deal' that I've seen advertised has ever beat either the small local shop I have purchased from or Armslist. And I've only purchased two 'new' guns from that local shop in the last year and a half. And one new one from a gun show a few months ago. Each of those purchases were at prices I couldn't pass up. Below even BL pricing.

As far as AL, in the last several years I've just gotten deals on purchases and trades that no online company could ever think of matching. All a matter of hitting the deal at the right time. Just a few of my deals;

  • Brand new/never fired Glock 19.5 with three mags for $350
  • Brand new/never fired Sig P365 for $350 (current production)
  • S&W 380 Bodyguard with laser, five mags and holsters for $350
  • Six month old LNIB Glock 26.4 with Trijicon HD night sights (new) and four mags (3 with +2 extenders) for $400
  • Through a series of trades I turned a $269 Hi Point 4095TS into a Glock 22 with TFO night sights, high end 9mm conversion barrel and multiple mags. The whole progression is listed here: http://sepboard.us/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=106&p=692#p692
  • Other deals located here: http://sepboard.us/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7

In the last few months I've traded a couple of Shields and a couple of LC9s' and turned them into three HK's (P30, P2000 and USPc) and a Sig (P226 Equinox). Heck, I just turned a pile of 12g ammo I had no use for into a LNIB/never fired XDS Mod 2 with laser and five mags.

You have to look for the deals but they are out there. So really, there has been no need (for me) to even look closely for deals from online companies.

I can agree and disagree....I guess if your local shop gives you stuff at or only slightly above cost you could do this 100%, BUT if youre like me and just a guy that gets no "special" pricing but other than that I normally after the shipping(if any) and FFL STILL save $75+ over local and at almost $100 bucks I do online..when it gets under $50 I do local.

Don't know how they get their inventory so inexpensively, but it's for anyone. They also advertise on Armslist. That's how I knew about them. Bought a 19X and a NRA P365 from them cheaper than I saw anywhere at the time. BL couldn't even match it.

But still, looking for deals on AL is fun and even the special online prices don't come close to what can be done if you're patient. Don't recall offhand what I paid for the P365 I carry now but it was maybe $450 give or take. And that was with one or two 12-round mags on top of the two 10-rounders. That was about a year ago when most prices were still above $500.

Alas, as soon as I enter my zip code, I'm shut out :brickwall: of many sites, and I don't fault them; I understand that they just don't want to deal with California.

It's far easier for me to go to Turners, which is five minutes from where I live; unfortunately, they currently have a 6-8 week backlog, and are only admitting customers by appointment.

I do have a Mini 14 Ranch on order from Wilde Built Tactical, which specializes in California-compliant firearms, but like most firearms sellers at this present time, they have a huge backlog. I ordered the Mini on 20 March, and I probably won't get it until the end of May, arrrgh.

I did sell the Glock 23 (forgive me, all ) on Guns.com - there was just something about it I couldn't warm up to, something about it that just threw me off - I absolutely love the 19; it could just be I'm not feeling 40SW. I am curious about 10mm, so maybe a Glock 20 is in the future.

Stay safe and healthy, all!

I don't buy from on line sites . We have a general store 3/10's of a mile away that displays 400 plus firearms all the time and at discounted prices . Example - new P365xl with thumb safety for $574 - new p320XC for $540 - new colt 04840WC $1050

If he does not have what a person wants he will check with his normal suppliers then all other suppliers / wholesalers then contact company's sales rep to hunt one up and he exchange firearms for like a 454 casull ruger srh for a friend . handgun was found in Alaska and exchanged a Benelli for it still at a discounted price . No On-line sales for me

I was always hesitant to buy guns on line but a few years ago (1917), I purchased two guns that year from Palmetto State Armory and this was a very good experience for me because I got a special deal with No Shipping Cost and My Local Gun Store was registered with them and the transition was easy! I got my ShockWave and my SUB 2000 from them and I plan to deal with them agin in the future by the end of this year. Oh, I also ordered ammo several times and I found that their shipping cost ws much less than anywhere else. Good Company!
