I recently tried Militec-1 for the first time.
I've got a 10mm CBOB that is tight as hell.
The Militec-1 smoothed it up quite a bit and cleanup was a breeze.
Not exactly an historical review, but it beats the hell out of BreakFree CLP for a lube in this gun.
I've used TriFlow with excellent results.
Zep45 is some seriously good stuff for rust/corrosion resistance and storage purposes.
The best lube I've ever used, over away and by far is CorrosionX.
The stuff is simply amazing and cheap to boot. It's waterproof as a bullfrog, heat doesn't seem to affect it and one coat lasts a hell of a long time. As far as lube properties, it has worked well in everything I've tried it on.
I was out so I borrowed a shot of Militec from a shooting buddy. I like it, but it's a PITA to find, nobody local seems to carry it.
I did a search and found mention of a free sample. Cool... I like that.
I went to their website (cheezy as hell) but no mention of a freebie sample.
Any of you know how to get a sample of the stuff ?
I did notice the stuff is pricey as hell compared to other stuff, but I like so cost is not an issue - IF I can get a freebie sample first.
