The last few months I have been over-hauling my EDC gear and how I carry various things. I've been trying out pocket carry, IWB and its various positions.

I discovered I must have bought a WTP belt sometime early in the pandemic, unsure what my mindset was at the time. Got her threaded into a pair of jeans and tried two weapons at the AIWB. Huge difference than my store-bought leather belt!

Sold for life. Can't even imagine how a regular belt holster would feel on this puppy....

I could see where it would be helpful for AIWB as well as, obviously, OWB.

For me personally, carrying IWB behind the hip, I don't notice any difference between my nice gun belts and my flimsy Walmart specials. Any kind of belt seems to hold things in place fine in that location (at least for me).

What has made the bigger difference is a fully adjustable belt. (Ratchet or traditional web belt buckle).

Kore belt for the win - it is not even a close match against regular quality gun belts.

Just the 1/4 inch per click adjustments instead of 3/4 - 1" of a regular belt is enough to switch - but they are also super stiff / especially the tactical belt.

I lost 38 pounds - and needed a new belt - I bought two Kore belts -

One tactical nylon - one black leather.

Open / sign up for an account - put what you want in the cart but don't complete the sale -

The next day you will get an email with 10% off deal - over $100 free shipping.

I will never buy a regular belt again.........................................................the end.

I've come to realize the difference in "quality" is the cinch holes spacing. Closer spacing (3/4-inch vs. 1-inch) gives a more refined adjustment, thus a better fit. A thicker/stiffer belt helps too but less important than hole spacing.

My store brought mainstream belts stretched over time from the weight of the firearm. I've now set the usable ones I have left aside and have a brown leather gun belt and a black one for different occasions. I have not had to buy belts in a long time since doing this.

Those "click" belts look interesting. I'm only a few days in wearing the WTP. Only issue is I must remove the one side of the buckle to thread through my belt loops. Something more low profile would be beneficial.

I have 4 new - never worn gun belts - two in 42" and two in 40" - I thought it was a waste of $$ to buy a Kore belt given I had all of these new belts. I loaded up Cross Breed Seconds - $30 a belt and free shipping.

But after dropping that much weight they are just way to big - the 40" belt is on the last hole when I have a gun IWB.

Looking back if I knew how great the Kore belts were I would have purchased one - even if I had the new old style belts.

I'm in my '60s and fat. I bought the Nextbelt belt and love it! As stated earlier, the infinite adjustability is the key factor in carry comfort. Any of the click adjustable belts should be considered. No more punching "in-between" holes in the belt.
As for the Nextbelt belt, if you lose weight, you simply remove the buckle, cut off what you no longer need and reinsert it and 'viola, more adjustment!

A designed as such gun belt is a huge improvement. Picking the best among those is a much tighter contest.

Which We The People gunbelt? There is more than one.

As a general rule of thumb, a heavy, thick belt is best for OWB carry because it supports the weight of the gun, whereas a slim, thinner belt is better for IWB and AIWB because it reduces bulk to aid in concealment plus the weight of the gun is distributed between the belt and waistband.
