Shot my friends PDP and its the pistol with the fastest to acquire red dot for me. I was honestly surprised with how natural it was. The rest of the gun isn't good enough to get me to buy one.

Not a big fan of the VP9. Have not tried one with a dot though.

No. Walther has, and I have used a previous gen1 5" compact, a 30 day satisfaction warranty.

Nice to get out of it, but super annoying to have to waste my time to pick it up and then drop it off. Ugh. Walther.

Yup, the curve at the end of the frame, helps you point the gun a little downward whan using a red dot. I might get the Holosun SCS for mine.

Just picked up a version 2 PDP compact five inch. Sights from Ameriglo and plate from CHPWS on the way. Mine has what I would consider pretty darn loose slide to frame fit up front. I mean, there’s play and it rattles. Were your guns also like this? I read it’s normal for PDPs but this is my first one.

Barrel to slide fit is great, as is the trigger.

My PDPs are shooters. I actually prefer my 5” compact to the rivals I had.

I don’t doubt that, there’s just more slop than I had expected. Is yours pretty loose up front as well?

I didn’t notice a loose tolerance issue. I’ll have to check but if I recall it felt like my Glocks.

Mine‘s definitely looser than my Glocks. Particularly up front.

Ppq are the same as my pdps. Found no issues with accuracy or reliability.

The modified Charles Petter lock up of all modern polymer handguns is dependent on the locking lugs at the opposite side of the muzzle. What breaks accuracy in this lock up isn't play in the slide, but rear ward pushing on the muzzle end pushing out of lock. Lock up on this non 1911 is independent of the slide play.

I have had and have many Walthers. They are better than most for accuracy. They are all pretty or kinda shaky on the frame.

One reason walthers can be rattly is they don't have a lot of plastic non rail guide rail. Like my 5" pdp, you'll notice on yours you can take of the slide and put it back on at mid point. Other have more guide rail on the dust cover. Either way, that doesn't affect accuracy with "lock up" which is at the locking lug.

Direct answer, yes. Like you, perfect accuracy with the Walther. Like you, my walthers and it's kinda known that walthers have a bit of rattle in the slide.
