My beretta m9a4 is now my favorite range gun. Decided to bring it the extra mile. I got a langdon trigger job in a bag and a wilson combat mag release.
My biggest complaint on this pistol was the mag release. The factory one is Polymer and I had to adjust grip and hit it hard to get a free drop. The release was super stiff and sometimes even with a good hit it wouldn't drop. Removed the factory one and found gouges where it was rubbing the frame. The Wilson steel one not.only has better checkeing and feels more solid, but no rub, mags drop.free without need to change grip or use excessive force.
The m9a4 is a great factory trigger for a beretta. Better than. Any standard m9 I've shot. About 9 pound double action, 4.5 single.
The langdon kit brings it down to 7 pounds 5 ounces double and 2 pounds 8 ounces single. Hard not to get good hits with this. Even cheap range ammo has no trouble with going off, very good ignition.
The new elite hammer is supposed to help with rake up. I'm honestly not good enough to tell if it made a difference. However, I think it looks cooler and is easier to manually cook or decock.
The biggest difference? The reset is awesome now. Short, tactile, and sweet.
I highly recommend the ltt kit and wilson release.
I have an easy to shoot pistol that runs 100 percent with my heavy supressor that looks good
