Personally, I simply advise against it. If you don't put your finger on the trigger until you decide to fire the gun, it won't fire. And if you never leave a loaded gun laying where someone else can pull the trigger, it won't fire.

That said, sider lock is the only one that comes to mind.....

All new Glocks come with a lock in the box with the papers, cleaning rod and spent cartridge cases. If you need to lock up the gun, just use that lock. Otherwise, I agree with Butch--just don't finger the trigger.

Just some added storage safety until I decide to take the plunge and buy a safe.
What is the difference if a thief steals your pistol with or with out a trigger lock on it. Just saying, am I missing something here?

That new Glock owner paranoia will wear off in due time. I had it my self until I realized that the Glock is the safest pistol design going and they just don't go off by themselves. There are only two things that will make a Glock go bang. They are pulling the trigger and stupidity.

No, he's talking about keeping it out of little hands, sounds like. The cable lock is the best way to do that until you get a safe. That, or keeping it on your person in a proper holster.

You don't need a $1,000 safe. You can get a very nice one by Stack-On for $70 at Dick's. Keeping your loaded guns in a holster also helps with handling as the trigger guard will be covered. This model has pre-drilled holes for mounting. I've got it screwed into a bedroom closet shelf which is attached to the framing. It isn't crowbar proof but keeps it from walking away.

the stack on is pretty cool, a trigger lock is annoying because not everyone keeps their keys on them always, they maybe hung in one room while your gun is in another then something happens and bam your out of luck. The stack on or gun vault mini safes are great. And if you need a trigger lock because of weight, travel and state regulations like in CA then a gun life jacket is your best bet
those other wire locks are easy to cut off.

I'm from MA and all guns need to be locked and unloaded unless carrying. I keep one of my guns unlocked, loaded in my nightstand at night, and conceal carry during waking hours, all others are in my safe. In MA, say for example there is a domestic noise disturbance and the police come to the house. If you let them in, they can search the premises for the guns you own and if not locked they will be confiscated and you will be arrested. MA guns laws are pretty strict and strange too!
