Bought a G17 MOS recently and I'm not sure what to do about the sights. Went looking for just a G17 but this MOS model was the same price so I figured why not, maybe I'll use it at some point.
So for the time being, I'm reading up on optics but still not sure if I'll even like one or not. I can't seem to narrow down all the choices and the prices seem to run the gambit from a couple hundred bucks for a decent one (Burris or Vortex) to a super nice one (Trijicon RMR or Leupold DeltaPoint). Crap on this hobby, what a pain in the rear!
Also might invest in a suppressor at some point, but not in the immediate/near future. So my question is what sights should I put on it? Go w/ standard sights (which will be either XS, Ameriglo I-Dot, or Trijicon HDs), or go ahead and do suppressor height sights for the down-the-road possibility of an optic (co-witness) or suppressor?
Any opinions or suggestions?
