BCM KMR is the lightest.

 

Huge fan of the KMR here. The rail just feels great in the hand. It is also very light.

 

Love the feel, look, and weight of the KMR.

 

Take a look at the SLR stuff also.
I have one of their 3 gun rails and love it, light and sturdy.

Light, thin and won't break the bank. If you want to mount a front sight they sell a short rail section for the top that will co-witnesses a std front sight with a std rear sight.

Did you add the pin to all your NSR rails.
My last one I bought a VLTOR receiver from ebay of all places and it had the pin hole already in it it was a very easy install.

I have an old 6 .8 that wears the old SWS style Noveske rail I had to drill that pinhole myself. I measured 3 times and used the drill press I didn't have access to a mill.

 

Gotta throw the KAC URX4 into the mix.........

What do you prefer about the NSR over the others. I love the KMRbut am interested in the NSR.

 

Troy Alpha. Round, slim, light. Less than $200.

 

The NSR just feels like it's built better and for some reason it feels more natural in the hand. I don't know how exactly to describe it, but for sure the finish on the KMR is an issue and even though I know it's a very sturdy rail, to me the NSR feels more rugged. It's really tit for tat, they both are excellent rails. But I have no complaints with the NSR and only a tiny complaint with the KMR (finish flakes off easily)

Noveske also is a huge sponsor of 3-gun, and I try to support them as much as I can.

As far as the anti-rotation pin, I don't use it. I have no plans of drilling a hole in my upper.

 

I run Samson Mfg rails on my 3 Gun rifles and my personal rifles. Lightweight, small and less than $200.00. They have the option of keymod or standard....with rail attachments for both styles. I won't use anything else. They are my personal favorite..

Same here. I wanted somethng lightweight and this fit the bill without emptying the pocket.

 

NSR is a really good light, thin rail with the KeyMod on it.

 

I am a fan of the inexpensive and light UTG slimline. Mounts through the barrel nut also.
