More disturbing facts concerning the grey HK: According to a past German gun law, semi auto rifles for German customers must not look like military guns.
So if you get a gun licence, which is difficult in Germany, and you want a HK SL8, it must not look like a G36.

Works better with a extended handle when you have a rail on top though. Or at least mine does that steel rail has some sharp edges.
