This would suggest that the Austrian army switched to civilian production after the military tender was filled and for SF units who could request "speciality" equipment. EUR 200

#23: AES FM79B, the other original competitor for the Austrian army field knife tender, two piece sheath stamped "79B" with retaining knob and leaf spring, Knife grip plug with AES lettering. AES "Annette Eickhoff Solingen" was founded just weeks before her husband's company went bankrupt. Blank outline is so close to the Glock FM78 that they may have even been made on the same machine, but finished with different grinding geometries. Inquire/make offer for price.
