Im ok with them..that said id just take the wood version if they were side by side and you said..Free pick just 1..wood one every time....UNLESS I knew id be using it in a wet environment a lot...then i may go plastic.

Just picked up a Henry X model in 44mag, first tactical lever gun I bought, gotta say I was on the fence for a while but glad I bought it.

Going to add a muzzle brake and a small rds. Can’t wait to shoot this thing.

i have a henryX in 30-30. The fiber optic sites are awesome. Ranger point precision has brakes for th X models. Coupon codes all over SAVE10 etc the brake is worth it. . I got one from them.
also I wanted to add a X in 357 but I just ended up getting an MLOK rail from ranger point as well. They have a bunch of great accessories for us lever gun enthusiasts

I like lever actions. I got my first one in 1984 as a Christmas gift from my dad. I was 22 YO then. It’s a Marlin 336 30-30Win and I love it. But to the point, I just ordered a Citadel Model 92 chambered for 38SP/.357Magnum. It’s had some pretty good reviews and I need a rifle that shoots the same stuff as my old service revolver, my S&W 586. Haven’t decided on sites but I’m doing a ton of research. It’s going to be a house gun and a stalking gun for hogs on a family member’s property where he only allows handgun cartridge rifles or shotguns.

Hog stalk hunts are fun and delicious. Plus these invasive specie are terrible for the ecosystem so I’m giddy when I go on a stalk hunt. Underwood ammo 357 loads are nuclear and quite effective. Leo discounts and a small family owned business great 30-30 loads as well as 10mm. Heck all of their loadings are superior lol
God bless

The so-called tactical lever gun was a thing for about five minutes back in the 90s during the original AWB. Glad to see the concept making a comeback. Aesthetically they may not be all that pleasing to some, but it's hard to argue against their effectiveness in the anti-personnel role. This is about as "tacticool" as any of my lever guns get, but I wouldn't be offended if someone gave me one that was fully tricked out.

The most practical accessories I've ever found for a LG is a sling and more ammunition. After that, something to enhance speedy accuracy... peep sight, fixed low power scope, or MRDS. Most of my LG's only wear a peep, a handful wear a 2.5x or 4x, and two identical 1894's use a DPP as below.

Of course I tend to prefer to KISS with most things...
Even the 7600 Police 308 below retains the stock 5 round capacity and simple peep sights
