Ha, ya build up the hands that’s what I needed. The buttons were just annoying and I wondered a little if it was counterfeit or damaged previous return, switching between modes was 50/50 these were stiff and unresponsive buttons. Main and only reason I returned it the dot drifted halfway across the glass shooting, I also felt like it sat out a little far for me I’m in the desert and covered in dust banging around digging holes with a pick I wanted solid and simple. I’ve got 90 days to return it if I don’t like it.

I did, too! (after sending it back to them to correct it for a P320RX.) :)

Here's a G45 in an old G19 Comp-Tac...

xTerpx - I hope this is the correct place to post this. (It's my first post.) I see you have a G45 with a milled slide and an SRO.

I'm about to send in a G19.5 to Battlewerx for milling, and I've decided on the SRO 2.5 MOA optic. What I haven't figured out is which BUIS to go with. I'm leaning toward black front and rear night sights with green tritium, but no idea whether they'll be Trijicon (which I've carried at work for 25+ years with zero problems) or Ameriglo.

Although I've been shooting all my life, this will be my first red-dotted pistol, and I'm looking for others that have Glock MILLED slides with SROs (or RMRs if the bottom of the sight window's the same(?) to help me out with some sight pictures and/or suggestions that work for them.

Can you advise exactly which Trijicon iron sights your G45 is sporting, and what your iron sight picture looks like through the SRO? Anyone else have this setup?

I pair with the Trijicon "Bright & Tough" suppressor sights (GL201-C-600661); the first time I went with the white rings around the green lamps, but now I only go with the blackout ones with no rings...think that is the best setup with backup night sights (though admittedly I never see the rings while target-focused, so your call).

The bottom/sight-picture is the same...same footprint between the SROs and RMRs, so the lower half of the sight is the same and will, with the same BUIS, produce the same co-witness look and feel...so I use the bright & toughs on all slides with Trijicon red-dots.

When you look at the milled vs MOS setup, look at where the top of the base of the optic bisects the rear iron sight; usually the MOS cross right under the lamps, whereas milled are markedly lower between the lamps and the base of the iron sights, if that makes sense.

Here's an shot of an RMR and the co-witness with the bright and toughs. I'll post a side-by-side pic with the RMR vs SRO and the rings vs blackout this evening, if that helps.

Not sure if these help...weird angles with the phone camera, so I couldn't get both dots on the screen at the same time...and was 100 in the garage, so I gave up...can at least see the difference in screen real estate. :)

Perfect. Those pix reeally help a lot, and are exactly what I needed to make a decision. I appreciate you taking the time to take and post them... my garage is about the same here in southeast FL.
