Like the title says. SUB $1,000 PCC. Reviewers all dropped videos on the same day. Of course they are all positive from what I saw.

Only real competition is the scorpion or stribog.

Thoughts?

I am seeing more and more about the little Kuna. MP5 and Scorpion comparisons abound online.

Obviously the MP5 is a legendary thing, so we don't want to confuse a newcomer with the defacto boss. But most seem to think the Kuna is pretty well made, has some features that are better than the Scorpion or MP5 (size, rails, sights, and grip ergonomics). It sounds as if it isn't quite as soft in shooting as the MP5 but far softer than AR pistols or the Scorpion, lacks the history/trust of MP5, and doesn't have third party support built up yet (the Scorpion has some, and AR pistols have an entire ecosystem to choose from!).

HS Produkt has designed good quality things, and this appears to be no different than the XD in appearing to be decently engineered and manufactured.

I just got my NRA Rifleman magazine last week, and the Kuna is the featured gun, and I have to say that for the price I am intrigued. Rumors are that the 9mm may be followed by a 10mm option (it apparently originated in Croatia as a .40S&W).

I have no need for one, but the Scorpion has intrigued me for a while. And now I am shifting my attention in the Kuna direction.

I think my 9mm suppressor would be very happy on this gun!

Shucks... Just get on the EXTAR EP9 - It may take some time - like 3 or 4 months I was hitting their site and got the 'no product available' message.

THEN - A couple of days just before a critical health check - I SNAGGED ONE!!!

Super light, VERY accurate, and... maintenance is very low... The documentation says, 'you can lube it, but it will just create issues in reliability'.

If you are a Glock guy, you already have the magazines for this 'pistol'!!! 😁
