A guy I work with told me he wasn’t going to waste his time trying to describe this place to me, he said I’d just have to see it for myself! Went twice this week, bought 5 Spyderco’s, still never made it to the 3rd floor!

The place is insane, I just wonder if there’s another place on earth that has more knives under one roof than SMKW?

Also my first time to Sevierville, Tennessee........will definitely go back, we had a great vacation there!

Serrated Salt 2 for my daughter’s boyfriend.
Saber grind (old school) Delica for me.
Green G10 Dragonfly to gift away, got someone in mind.
New Z-CUT kitchen knife, more on this one below.
Ambitious for my son’s buddy who went with us.

Nothing expensive or high end, just great users. I’ve got 3 (or 4) Delica’s, always wanted a saber grind cause EVERYONE wants a flat grind! Saber grind is just a tougher knife and I think they look great! I own around 30 Spyderco’s, I could have easily bought 20 more this week.

I used my new Z-CUT last night, it’s a laser, it’ll shave onions & tomatoes. USA made, BD1N steel, and $20.00, it’ll make a great stocking stuffer for any of your cooking friends and family!

They used to have a show on TV a night or two a week selling knives. Funny guy named Chris Kirk IIRC

Here’s the boyfriend’s Salt 2, his birthday is next week, we’ll give it to him then.

I bought this one cause they have a lake house and he loves to fish........also I bought it because of my experience with the serrated Salt series. I put off buying a serrated Pacific Salt for years, over 5 years at least, had I bought a Pacific Salt 5 years ago I can promise you I wouldn’t own 30 different Spyderco’s!

It’s a workhorse, and a super EDC knife! And I’m finally over the yellow scales! :D

My last knife, Hogue Deka, was ordered from them. Great customer service.

I've had a Zcut for a few months now (plain edge) and it's a great utility knife but doesn't keep an edge as long as I'd like. I use it on a bamboo cutting board only. They just came out with the Counter Puppy but it uses 7CR17.

My Z-CUT is serrated, that’s the one I wanted.

Smokey Mountain Knife Works - Smokey Mountain Guns & Ammo kitchen supplies , lights build your own kits and plenty of collector brands and novelt blade weapons . Use to have a fair amount of tactical clothing but it never sold well .

They tend to stay sold out on ammo .

There is also Floyds Gold & guns worth checking out too .

Bud's is a big let down just as a gun shop . If you drive over from NC you should check out our little General store . Prices Creek General Store near Burnsville NC in Yancey County NC about 10 minutes east on us-19 off I-26 . Before the firearm run they displayed 400+ firearms .

Good to hear SMKW is legit. I've been on their website and found a few out of production knives - looong out of production - listed as "in stock". That always gives me pause and makes me wonder if the place really knows what's going on, or is even a legit knife seller.
