I wouldn't mind a 48 size and dimension 10mm, assuming it had any real capacity.

I would not be sold on 6 or 7 rounds.

 

Would be nice to have a choice of a single stack 10mm Glock. My Kahr CW45 might get a break here and there.

I would be in for a G23.3 sized 10mm. Yes I know the G29 has a very similar foot print to the G23, I have both. I want the G29 on a diet.

Thats a big question. We know from the 36, 30S and 41 that the 45 acp does not require the slide thickness of the original 21/30…but the 10mm is a different cat.

A legit reliability challenge is the wide power range of 10mm ammo. 🤷‍♂️

The G49 was rumored to be a single stack 10mm a couple years back. I don’t care what they call it, I’m in for one or two of them.

 

In states where 10 rounds is the limit, slimline would be good.

A nine shot 10mm would be a great addition to the Glock line of handguns. I guess the slide would have to be as thick as the Gen5 G22.

Probably too thick. The Kahr CW45 slide is 0.9" thick. From a design perspective, they can get down to 0.80" no problem. But the "slim" Glock 9mm slides are 0.87" thick.

 

IF .. they did … it would be a 36ish with a wider slide …

 

Sad part is you can already put a G29 slide on a G36 frame and it works. The “rub” is the magazine. The 36’s mag will not hold 10mm, at all. If only someone would make a G36 10mm mag.
