I recently changed out the slide stop on my G/32. I noticed the Glock part comes bent around the end, so it easily slides into the slot, but with other makes the spring is off to one side. I assume one has to bend the spring into place; or is there something I'm missing?

I have always been afraid to try and bend the spring fearing it would break. If there is enough gap between the trigger and the frame, it will go in like it is pictured and kind of jam up. I try and get the spring to line up outside the loop (like the stock one) as I am inserting it. Once the spring is put under the pin, it usually rides in the correct spot as the gap between the trigger and frame is pretty tight right there. Somebody else probably has a better way. I like those extended levers, I have them on all my guns.

It probably does really matter. Regardless I bent mine and it didn't (and being spring steel won't) break. I just hope I did the right thing if it does matter
