Well, everyone else is doing it. Why not? P211…

Like that it uses 320 mags... Might be time to sell the Prodigy. I tried to love it, but I'm on my 3rd one and I don't love it enough to justify the price difference over my DH3 320. Current one has had everything but the barrel (which later had to have the chamber reamed and polished) replaced by Abernathy. I've still had a malfunction and will sometimes fail to lock back on an empty mag.

Oh yeah, the trend of competition pistols for shooters that don't shoot competitions keeps going. Or is it a "range toy"? I do like that it uses 320 mags as 2011 mags have always been extremely finicky and often require tuning - both are expensive. I don't care for Sig's accessories, like their optics, range finders, etc. but their guns have been well built as of late. They did round out the trigger ears in the 2011 frame - which has taken decades too long to happen for most companies. And it's fully ambidextrous.

I have a nice German Sig. Relegated to home defense because the miniature slide release is not much help in IDPA. A SAO Sig with a slide release extension would do anything I have ever done with a 2011.

I don't have or want a P320 so magazine commonality with the new thing does not apply.

Hard pass on anything Sig.
You need to check out some nice Sigs
Between their rifles and P320 series problems I've seen come through the gunsmith side of the range I work part time for I absolutely will not touch a new production gun until I see it go through the rental side for at least a year. We've gone through a few Rattlers and MCXs that have broken just in the time I've been there. Nevermind the P320s. The 365s are just fragile in one area because they are trying to shoehorn full size features in a subcompact frame.

If it's a metal 2011 I might not be as sceptical as a proprietary piston rifle or plastic pistol. I'm still going to let others step on that rake.

Thanks for posting this bac. I got the email through their NEXT site today.

Interesting for sure but if the P226 XFive Legion I'm getting this week shoots as good as the one I tried from a member at our range, I'll pass on this.

To add. After buying my Staccato XC and CS , My 2011 needs are covered nicely.

Yeah I’m not buying it either. To me a 2011 starts at Staccato and goes up from there.

I’ll be interested in checking it out though. Something different. Not exactly a 2011, but close.

Doesn’t look great, but I’d have to see one in person. I’m not endorsing the gun by any means. I only buy high end 2011’s.

I posted it for those that may be interested. Probably a better option than the Turkish garbage or the Prodigy. Not that that’s saying much…

Not a big SIG fan but I do have a 229 Legion I picked up used for 660 bucks a while back? I like it so far. Won’t ever buy a P320 obviously but this latest Spaceman Spiff gun looks like fun
